Sam and Bryce are the only two b-ball podcasters whose long-form content almost doesn't seem long enough sometimes. Each episode could be 3.5 or even 4 hours long and I'd be happy as a clam. The fact that they never descend into lowest-common-denominator, ESPN-style hot-take bullshit is a huge part of what makes Game Theory great, but I can't imagine that it helps them with the RUclips algorithm.
Is it though? Do the masses want informed and thoughtful content on much of anything nowadays? Personally I do. But I have made peace with being a weirdo a long time ago. The internet has just made it more obvious to me that I am different.
Sam the views will come, but this type of basketball talk is rare and refreshing. This is the minute for minute best NBA talk podcast. Keep grinding man you’ll be the next Russillo in no time lol
Got to say that was the most respectful and honest take on randle I have heard in the basketball world in 3 years. I hope all the talking heads watch this and bring a level of respect to the convo like you guys did.
and to be honest you guys have been more right then me sense our last convo his stat line tonight litterally looks like a ben simmons stat line except he wouldn't have taken any 3s but if he did he would have missed them all too.
I don't know I hate how NBA media picks a guy to all smash until it gets old and then slowly they pull out. I agree lets body shame the heck out of athletes it is their body after all that is used in their job, but hating on someone just cause it is popular to hate them, randle may not be an all NBA player anymore but he is still one of the top 50 players in the NBA and is willing to try and change his game to better a team. Granted KAT is way better knicks got to the better of the trade but randle aint chump change.
As a knicks fan I kinda hate it ended like this even though I am a knicks fan I wanted the best for randle and thought him and ANT ccould be good topgether. I just didn't understand how impossible rudy gobert makes it for any and all driving lanes.
Wow no Blazers even for honorable mention? They could possibly dump Ant and Grant. And they'd probably do Ayton if they could, not to mention RW3, Reath. Tisse..
In Texas, In the 80s, there used to banks who were trading trading bad loans to to other banks for their bad loans. They called this trading dead horses for dead cows. PWill for Nurk sounds like that.
The whole purpose of trading KAT was to clean up the books and provide roster flexibility. Trading for Jeremy Grant or Jordan Poole would do the exact opposite. It makes no sense. If the Wolves can trade Randle for expiring contracts without giving up a first, that would be a win They need flexibility to sign Naz Reid to a long-term contract as well as keep naw I'd be down with a Randle for Bruce Brown and Boucher package.
As a Raptors fan I would absolutely pass on that... it might technically provide us with a talent upgrade, but Randle is a ball-dominant player who needs a carefully constructed team around him to maximize his impact, which we really don't have... not to mention the fact that we really can't afford to take on that much longer-term $.
2:01:50 Honestly, Jerami Grant would be a great fit in Minny. Can start or come off the bench behind Naz and JMac. I would really consider that despite the 3 years after this one. Better shooter, defender, less ball dominant, nearly same cap hold.
Regarding the Cavs, what outside observers often miss is the history of some of their role players when discussing potential trades. Okoro has played in 3 postseasons and hasn't made shots in any of them. Dean Wade has been hurt the last 2 postseasons & probably shouldn't have played vs Boston. Niang was unplayable last playoffs. Marcus Morris wound up giving them more. Atkinson seems to believe in Niang who has been better this season. A lot of Cavs fans don't to be worried about Niang but I think they'll be disappointed. Getting another guy besides Dean Wade between 6'7-6'9 who can defend both forward spots & make a 3 has been a team need for 3 years now. Backup big is a need but it's a pretty distant 2 when looking at the wing personnel they'll have to deal with in the playoffs with Boston, NY and Orlando.
Bucks have to move Pat C. to Det first (for a min. or 2way player first to get below the 2nd apron) before they can move multiple players in 1 trade ie. to go after Beal or Butler
@@GameTheoryPodcastwSamVecenie What are the Bucks going to give the Pistons to take Connaughton. They literally only have 1 second round pick and one 1st round pick they can give up. IMO a 2nd isn't near enough to take that contract, and i doubt the Bucks would give up that 1st to dump him.
I honestly think BI, Randle, Butler, all of these players that at this point are not really "winning" players are going to take any player option they have because no team including their own teams should really want them. I would rather have Naz Reid at $30 million than any of these guys. This is the era of role players, not mediocre stars
Pistons need to strike now while they have the advantage with that $14M in cap space. Good players are going to be a lot more expensive and there will much more competition for their services in the off-season
Call me weird but I have always been that person who seems to stand up for those be picked on more then they should be. Normally alphas don't pick other alpha for this target but in the NBA world were everyone is an alpha they seem to take down any and all low laying fruit. If any talking head is willing to say ignore a person during the entire draft even though bopth are on set then the rest of the world hates the man, aka stephen a smith and randle on draft night 2024.
I could see the Lakers trade for Randle or try to sign him over the summer to put another big next to AD as they are obsessed with that idea and they could convince themselves Lebron could fix Randle
The video content is very worth learning!I have a side note:I have the address of a wavefield chain that contains usdt, and I have the recovery phrase.:(laugh nominee buzz game expose field wash shoe world sadness bicycle grain).:How should I transfer them into my own wallet?
Best NBA podcast
It's honestly shocking to me that you only have 15K subscribers

They have pretty good levels of engagement. 4-5k views per vid with 15k subs is great.

FYI Phoenix has two 2nd round picks. They sent out three in the Richards trade, but got one back from Charlotte in the process
Wizards fan here….poole is shooting 40% from three and hasn’t taken a bunch of terrible shots this year lol
Bucks have to move Pat C. to Det first (for a min. or 2way player first to get below the 2nd apron) before they can move multiple players in 1 trade ie. to go after Beal or Butler
Yeah, for all intents and purposes, can be structured as a three-team deal that has one part go through before the others.

Randle and McDaniels for Ben Simmons, clears the books next year. Stick Ben on the bench, Naz starts.
Ridiculous trade

@@Tmacademia NO!
Nets must demand Devin Carter from Sac for CJ. Sac can't trade D.Carter or any picks until D.Fox situation solved.
Does anyone else have a feeling to want to stick up for the person being picked on by everyone?

What’s Andrew’s Letterboxd username?!?!?
The people wanna know
Why would the 6th seed hawks be sellers?!
And they dont own their own pick, smh
Not contending, real chance to get off of some money (Bogdan,
Capela, etc.) while building further for the future.
Myles Turner will retire a Pacer
Clippers?😊😊
Orlando's lost its magic.
