Hi Kenny I'm seriously ready to purchase. I'm about a 2.5-3.0 player just wanting to keep up my strokes. Speed issues may be an issue but for practice, how do you feel. Is it solid and low headaches (balls get stuck too much, battery fizzles too soon, oscillator works well.....)??
My slinger bag broke after less than a year of use. I emailed Slinger and they were really quick to respond and claimed it must be the charger. They gave me instructions to fix it which I followed and it didn't work. I emailed them a short video of my machine showing that the machine does not turn on even when fully charged, the lights occasionally flickers and the motor makes a loud grinding noise. Now that they realized its more than the charger, they stopped responding. I try calling and no one answers. Buyer beware! They don't stand behind their warranty.
Because they were ghosting me and not returning my emails when my slinger broke. I'm sharing my experience so others will know what they might be dealing with if they buy a slinger.
We don't have the exact settings that were used in this video. However, we did you use the Slinger quite a bit in Indian Wells on our demo court, and I recall that we had the speed setting somewhere close to the middle, or slightly lower, and the elevation was maybe like a 1/4 or 1/3 of the way up. We were basically adjusting it until we found a feed that was where we wanted it to be. It might be best to try and have a partner adjust it while you're standing back receiving the feed. We also found that you can place the Slinger on the same side of the court as you right up against the net, and the receiver stands behind the baseline a few feet or so. There is also some good information on the Slinger website, here: slingerbag.com/pages/community, such as the "5 Great Drills W/ Settings". And you can also contact them here, slingerbag.com/pages/support, with a phone number on the bottom of the page. Hope that helps, Troy TW
@Leo A, You might want to contact Ball Slinger directly as they should be able to answer better/faster. We don't carry this product in the US; I've asked Jaye for assistance with the question, but their customer service might be a quicker solution! Michelle, TW
The remote is not really. I attach a lanyard and rest the remote on top. No bending over, since I leave the machine ON for the entire session and I never misplace the remote. So the remote is merely a convenient on/off for the ball launcher mechanism. Plan your drills and load the hopper for as many balls you're gonna hit. Or have a friend tend the hopper. You should be more focused on your technique adjustments than hopper convenience.
@@NicholasPlazioJr Thanks for the advice. I wish the next remote iteration will have the sensor located on the tip section of the controller then I can further extend my arm.
@ J W It's a long story, but long story short, we partnered with Hayden, who already owned Tennis Only, some years ago and the name remains. We are not affiliated with Tennis Warehouse Australia. Michelle, TW
Agree, 45 mph seems pretty low. I have a 7 year old Lobster that can rocket the ball. It supposedly goes up to 80 mph. After 50mph mark it just shows a red zone. I've hit about a third of the way in the red zone so roughly 60/65 and it's about the pace of players I play against. Of course I have no idea how accurate those mph's are but it makes for a good hit.
What More do you expect from such a price point machine...? All of the other machines with faster ball feed and different spin options all costs Double of what Slinger costs...
@@YOULOOTWESHOOT101 First, easy with the name calling. Second, you need to shut up if you have no idea what you are talking about. My dog is hyper active, I can play with her all day and she won't get tired, this would be nice for when I'm at work and I'm not able to play with her.
I just got a Sllinger from my family for Christmas. Thank you for the tutorial. I am going to try it now

My bag stop work the sample day I could not turn it on after hitting 60 balls. The remote stop working when balls were reloaded.
Nice review! Looks like a great product!
can you please tell us what settings jay was using for these drills and what elevation? thanks

Thanks! Great review.
Can you put low compression tennis balls in ball machine
@Stephanie Honsberg,
Are you referring to pressureless balls?
Yes, shouldn't be a problem.

@@tenniswarehouse How about orange balls? (qst 60)
@@greghancox6480 yes. You can.
Does it comes in different bag colors ?
How can I extend the range of the remote controller? It's in consistent otherwise. Thank you.

On a completely unrelated note, why are you guys called Tennis Only instead of Tennis Warehouse Australia?

There is already a Tennis Warehouse Australia so they probably couldn't take that name.
one lucky friend got one off Ebay, not in US/Australia. For less than MSRP, top line too. Envyyyyyy

An older colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Vapor X. Troy TW
If the slinger remote doesn’t respond, how do you change the battery of the remote?
Can you practice smash with this machine?
Yes you can
What's the durability of this? Lab tested data please.
Great machine, but maximum speed is simply too low.
Really? Which are the better ones?
