  • I'm told I can't reach it in my boat, we'll see...
    Camping on the boat and no landing camping. Camping on the boat to go somewhere I have never gone before. It's uncharted and there is no information on the area I'm about to explore, apart from a couple of obscure historical pieces.
    Enjoying the sounds of nature, scenery and relaxing.
    I work full time and this is my way of recharging. I hope you enjoy the same and you can get out there some time during these difficult times.
    NO TALKING: The power of being alone has a power and silence few can handle. I do this to regenerate from my busy work life. I rewatch my own videos to re-experience the solitude. I hope you enjoy the same.

      G’Day and thanks for watching 😀 I don’t have a video on the detail. I just bought a canvas tarp, some long tie down straps, plastic clips and tent poles and rafters to make up the boat bow tent. It’s quite weather proof but not critter proof 🤣. I’ll see if I can schedule in a video on this at some point. I’m thinking of sewing up a fly for my current boat tent I use in my latest trips. That way I can use it on land too. Thanks again.

    🇦🇺🎥🤠👍, morning mist was pretty magical. Those Azure Kingfishers were pretty damned special too 😊👏👏👏‼️ The Angler 3.0 kayak (BCF) will happily tow behind a boat up to 30kmph if you want to get to the shallow spots that the boat won't go. I haven't tried towing my Hobie voyager but I believe the prow is too deep and it's skew sideways when towed.
    Crackin vid as usual, keep them coming🤠👏👏👏‼️

    • @billyaitken1713
      @billyaitken1713 3 года назад

      riveRecon - BCF have stopped doing my kayak (well, I have had it for 7 years!) it's the Dragonfly Sport Angler, also known as the Angler 3.0. Anything with a really shallow prow should tow well. But then again, you could host a game of '5 a side soccer' on your boat so if you were to carry the kayak on board it wouldn't be an issue👍

    New subscriber from the USA. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia I hope this is taken as a compliment when I say your country has a similar appeal to frontier era America. Beautiful places still to enjoy and be content with one’s own company. For being a new channel, you’ve got a great thing building. A request: relying on subtitles is perfect for not over talking the sounds of nature that makes your vids special only please consider leaving them on longer. I’m a fast reader but in your few vids so far, several times I’m rewinding to read your commentary then return my eye to your beautiful photography to match the text with the picture. Suggest reading it yourself and then add several seconds. In the case of your bird identification (greatly enjoy these) leave the name up the whole time the bird is on screen. Really look forward to where you take us on your adventures and seeing your channel build. Thanks for sharing your beautiful country with those us who may never manage to visit in person.

    • @riveRecon
      @riveRecon  9 месяцев назад

      It’s an Aussie made Kingfisher Eclipse. It allows access around the boat pretty easily compared to others and has a huge coverage area too. You can also deploy just one half if needed for more fishing rod swing space. This is my second boat with one. They’ve sponsored one of my videos, if you go to them let them know about riveRecon. Thanks.

    У меня есть два вопроса :
    1) что это за горелка - свечка - лампа , которую Вы гасите , накрывая крышкой.
    Она горит у Вас и тогда, когда светло. От комаров , что-ли?
    2) Вы прожили на лодке две ночи, как организован гальюн ?
    Заранее спасибо.

      Hi, thanks for your questions 😀
      1. This is an oil lamp that keeps the mosquitoes away.
      2. I have a toilet bucket on the boat with a composting powder. It gets emptied when I get back home.
      Thanks for watching 😊

    I've updated the Closed Captions "CC" to tell you more about what's going on. I am a Rookie at this storytelling so please let me know what you like and what I can improve. Thanks!

    • @Mk4Thumper
      @Mk4Thumper 2 года назад +2

      In my humble opinion, people connect with people far batter than connecting with reading. I would try doing voice over if I were you. It's a way that you can continue to film in the way you already are, while putting more of yourself and personality into it after the fact rather than just close captions. I am not suggesting that you voice over everything, but explaining your obstacles in your own voice would connect you with your viewers, and using captions to label wildlife won't break the mood you are working to create. Good Luck!

      I like the captions instead of voice. Too often tubers jabber away. Your film style of letting nature sounds through allows us to be in the moment as well.

    • @riveRecon
      @riveRecon  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching 😊 Yeh, the Bimini is great. This is my second one on two boats and they are very sturdy and very large shade area. You can only close half if you want more casting room and easy to pass rod around when fighting a fish. Here is a link to the supplier: kingfisher-eclipse.myshopify.com/?ref=iG9iSYTfpBR2- They just sent me some sideways wobble braces and I’ll video them on my next trip. Thanks.
