    ....i do not understand a word but it gets into the depths of my heart....i wonder why i am in tears listening to this song.....

      Tears? I think that is a totally normal reaction to hearing Reb Carlebach sing and tell his stories. Who knows, maybe there's some yidden in your family line. Maybe you just recognize "holy" when you hear it.

      when a jew returns from synagoge at friday night it is said that two angels folow him home
      and bless him he should always find his home peacefully.
      so we sing them this song:
