I love all of Michael Giacchino's music from this game. This really reminds me of running around, shooting up all the clocks to find the missing document, and the hilarious noise it made when you wrecked a cuckoo clock.
Playing this mission, I felt like I was playing as a '40s version of James Bond, with the tuxedo and all, in fact the series feels like a James Bond adventure leading up to Pacific Assault, after that the series becomes more about fighting on the front lines than being a covert op.
I felt the same way my dad bought this game when i was 6 years old and i dominated it after I beat the game I was obsessed with WW2and since i had no James Bond games I always played this level I am 14 now and i still love this game you can't beat the classics
Man, music can bring you back, can't it? This was the first video game where I really noticed the music and how it augmented the game play like a film. It got to a point that I played this game so much that I would wait for a specific moment in the score to go into a certain room or around a specific corner, specifically this and "After The Drop". This brings back such a specific memory, too. My brother had just bought this game and wash gushing about it, but I was so busy working on an independent film that I kept putting off stopping out to play it. Then my parents went to Toronto for a week (had to catch Phantom of the Opera for the ump-teenth time) and my brother was there alone watching the dog and such. He hooked his PS2 up to our parents rather large screened tv (for 2002), which I had just hooked up speakers for the Christmas before. I happened to walk in the house one day while he was playing the MARKET GARDEN mission and the music stopped me in my tracks. For the rest of that week, I was pretty much stationed in my parents' living room with my brother playing that game. I couldn't get enough of it. It was such a great time in our lives, when everyone was healthy and happy, something that did not last into the 2000-teens, sadly. When the game came available on Amazon bundled with the score, I jumped at the chance to get it ($50?? Man, that is steep, but ok, is what I thought at the time 😀). I listened to that score until I memorized every note. I had never heard of the guy who scored it, but hey, a fellow Italian!! I remember telling my best friend in Arizona about it, and even "burned him a copy" (does THAT take you back?). I remember when i sent it to him, I wrote in the note, "This guy channels John Williams without aping him. I see big things for him in the future." Little did I know. Man, what a great memory. Thanks, Giachinno. I've bought every soundtack since, and always will. Also, WEREWOLF BY NIGHT was the best thing Marvel put out in the last few years. Hope they can free up some scratch so he can make a follow up.

He meant if he has everything to use it as a disguise, none of the shooting, fighting the damn throwing knives chef, shooting clocks, falling down and hitting the ground and die and restart the whole mission.
What I love most about Medal Of Honor Frontline is most of the levels arent the same when it comes to gameplay. Some levels require you to be sneaky and not have alarms tripped, others are a more casual walkthrough, and then you have some that lets you go wild with your guns and anything else around you that can prove to be useful to your advantage.
Just replayed this not long ago. It took a few minutes to get the hang of it again, but holy cow, as soon as I heard Giacchino's music, boom, it was 2002 again and I was playing this with my brother. I spent quite a bit of money for the game with the soundtrack; I had to have it! 2 minutes later:
"ER IST ALINE!" (he is alone!)
Amazing soundtrack, most likely the best one of the game. And also some serious Indiana Jones vibes from this one. 10/10 for the mission itself too. Serious nostaliga!
Damn I was a lot younger when I played this game. I was 4-5 back then and this game is still good. Too bad we haven't gotten Medal Of Honor back.
This is my favorite track in the game and the mansion level was the best too.
I remember every part of this mission and still play the game
I played this mission so many times because shooting up an enemy mansion to this music was outrageously fun.
love the elegance of this map, and this fancy soundtrack to match.
I absolutely love this piece. So epic on so many levels! This was probably the first war game I played as a kid, and I still play it from time to time to relive my old memories. :) Damn, now I wanna play it again. XD Time to bust out the PS2!
Listening to this song makes me feel like I am in that level again. Such a fine game.
This reminds me of slightly simpler times. Gosh, I miss this game!
This kitchen makes the best sow belly you’ve ever had. I was so sick after the last formal dinner.
Heard in bathtub room near the sauna room
How many went guns blazing and got there arses killed?
XD
Tried go in guns blazing apache and the chef ran me down and killed me. He just wouldnt die
Probably the best Medal of Honour, deserves a remaster
It got actually a remaster in 2010 for PS3.
I don't trust ea to remake this
Played this game with my dad, was awesome. Miss that game and MOH on ps1 too. This was my first fps, and I still love that game like the first time.
One of the greatest video game soundtrack of all time.
Everyone gangsta till the chef starts throwing knives
I came here for this music i remember it when i played the operation repunzel ending mission with the informant. Its an art song very nice
*Chef throwing knives*
EHEHEHEH!!
The Chef in the kitchen was my favorite enemy
He would always take a whole clip lol
My favorite soundtrack in the game
2:59 - "on the eve of this great adventure, I send my best wishes to each and every soldier in the allied team"
I wish most of this music was in captain America the first avenger
It would have made the movie a lot better
It's a true shame, if they only had this kind of music for the First Avenger that would've been awesome, it fits so damn well the period!
God bless the utilization of live orchestras.
one of my favourite mission and soundtrack
