I do not understand why some think she must try something else,or some other genre.. an artist must not be versatile!!!! Just by the way... you have artists like Adele, who have hit songs in their own genre.. Adele will never sing a Nicki minaj type of song and vice versa.. because they have different vibes, and voice types! So let jahtell excell in this genre... it's her style!!!

She's the Most Consistent so far in the show, monotonous or not, especially when it comes to Vocal delivery & dexterity which is what the essence of the show is all about: Consistency in how good your voice sounds week in and week out. If anything, she deserves to win because of this reason. Even her so-called major threats who are remaining in the game have heard their not-so-good moments and performances. This is a far better and more controlled performance than last week. Her breath control was good even as she moved. I'm crowning her Ms. Monotone though because throughout the competition she decided to stick to one style. Her sound is very Negro spiritual/African American Blues. It can either work as a plus or minus for her as regards this competition. But in her career, it should make her stand out as her sound will be a unique one in the Naija Music Industry even though such a style has a limited audience in Nigeria. I guess Timi was hinting, she's pregnant. If so, I wish her a healthy term and delivery and I'm dropping a name for the baby - Melody ☺ as she/he is already singing from the womb. I wish her all the best.

hey wait! did you watch Omawumi on Idols West Africa in 2007??? Timi Dakolo won the show, whilenshe was runner up. Omawumi sang lots of Ballads and maybe one naija song. But it was obvious that Omawumi could sing anything. Jahtell reminds me of Omawumi. This Jahtell babe will slay a naija song anytime. Forget it!!! She's got the attitude and charisma. She's the best on this show by miles jare. and i hate to say it, but even the coaches can't compete with her.
