I really like the Hymer. Small like a van but it has an actual door.
Me as well. I love that it is a fully functional RV (even has a garage) yet small enough to use everyday.
Why would you get a van conversion for more when you can get this instead (assuming you don't need to sleep more then 2....3 in a pinch)?
And finally...yes I am a man, but...it is SO CUTE.
Hymer bought the USA roadtrek its now on all invoices by road trek! Thank GOD! maybe the USA will get a small RV like the Zion srt or smaller!

I wish he mentioned what kind of insulation it has. Also, it's a big waste of space adding that extra bench seat, the 2 captains chairs are plenty for laptop & eating. Everyone knows you make extra room outside with extra seating or adding the awning or tent for a livingroom type of setup. No need to clutter with that bench when the bathroom could be larger, or better yet, a fiberglass bathtub for when you're hooked up. or what about a wood stove for cooking without propane & heating & a fireplace feel. Now that would be perfect if also, the roof isn't flat, all flat roofs end up being a big issue. Fiberglass roof with solar would be great or better yet, the whole shell & ditching any wood inside too. Wood & the elements over time won't last as long as making it more like a boat so there's never a leak issue. It's almost the perfect layout. With a double fiberglass shell it would have perfect long lasting insulation & removing the bench making a better bathroom, with the wood stove, would be the absolute perfect compact motorhome. Almost there. And yes, when this is made, PLEASE come to America.

Because they don't give a damn anymore. Everything is regulated by greed here. Gone are the days where workers had compassion and excellent work ethics and the companies weren't worried about how much more was needed to make the shareholders happy.
The other problem is that Europe welcomes caravanning and/or camping. It's a totally different mindset. You can damn near go anywhere over there. In North America (USA) It's NOT welcomed everywhere. You might get away with it once you get past the north eastern states where it's somewhat tolerable. People over here look down on folks that want a more carefree life. And then you're forced to go to a campsite and the minimum is around $35 per night. Oh, and let's not forget, USA would charge 3 times the money and the mileage would suck. Why? Because we are conditioned to waste. We got to have the biggest everything, take up the most space, and waste as much as possible and still not be happy. (Sorry for the rambling)
We have class b motor homes here. You can even buy some nice used ones cheap.

I like your videos but I wish you would put additional information. Like if the camper has solar panels, generator, LPG or lack thereof. If I am shopping for an RV it would be nice to know if those options are available rather than running the engine all night to have power.

01:20 Horribly insulated in the garage area..! You have a very thin door, separated by another thin door and you're inside of the home with no insulation in between nor tight fitting doors..!!

I wish we could get this in the US. we get these huge gas guzzling pieces of junk that you can not park anywhere and hard to drive., they put full size couches and washer and dryer in them. just as useless as they can be.. I guess it is the bigger is better attitude. Or it is that if you do not understand quality, then give them quantity.
So depressing that we do not have affordable mini rvs like this in the US
There are quite a few vans RV class B in the US that are almost as small.....
Why aren't these sold in the U.S.?

It seems to me the European vans/compact motor homes have better designs, better features, and better concepts overall .....vs Americans. Apparently, American manufacturers just don't care about improving their products....just want to sell them!
