For me a frustrating thing is the lack of stats in Dynasty across the board. Heisman/Award tabs show no stats at all (aside from previous game), can't even click on a player to view them. No Heisman voting numbers. Don't understand why this simple stuff was overlooked and is lacking so much.
Yes! This part, that was one of the best parts of dynasty! Seeing the stats of each player for the year & going “damn he’s balling” or “he doesn’t really deserve to be top” . Even seeing how far your player was from them stat wise
Also stats just sometimes stop tracking for your players all together. Had a guy rush for 6 100 yard games. I check his stats Mid-season and he had 38 carries for 200 yards.
I'd rather have the game with no create-a-player than no game at all. If we want a game, we have to play within the rules of the system. Create a player is basically what killed the series back in the day. If you still want it, run 14 on an emulator and play that.
No Create A Player, No Shiesty Masks, and the 5 positions for ROAD TO GLORY are the bummers. Like I wanna dip under n get a sack. I played safety, lemme play safety. No oline block attempts is still frustrating.
There is one thing that is really pissin me off about this game. It’s hard to get a stop on defense, especially when the offense is going hurry up. But when I do manage to get a stop and the offense has to punt or kick a field goal, I get rewarded by the cpu running into the kicker. It happens WAY too often!
Missed a few major things: the ability for any user in dynasty to edit players attributes ... The broken conference realignments followed up with the loss of protected rivalry games... And lastly with recruiting the sheer amount of 95 THP / >92 SPD freaks that can play QB. By year 3 every squad will have a M. Vick
To be fair… in college, most schools have a dual-threat QB. Maybe not a Vick level guy but it’s far more common than years past. Hell, even Army West Point has a QB who is run first with a rocket of an arm but zero accuracy.

I really wish we could play with historic teams. That would be an all time fun thing for me since I mainly just enjoy playing exhibition modes. Also I wish there was a way for me to just play out a teams season in exhibition.
Yes, but historic teams are why NCAA basketball and football got taken out back in the day. I am not disagreeing it would be cool, but I won't be shocked in EA never includes them either
For the 5th worst thing, you could’ve put the kickoff blocking. I’ve been on Varsity difficulty and I’m getting 19 yards on a return, with 5 guys on me. Half my team is almost at midfield. That is by far the worst part of the game.
The blocking in general is absolutely terrible. Watching linemen not even touch a defender and run past them is horrible. Or having my tackle let a d end scream through without and resistance is bad….

I started using Pitt for an offline dynasty mode. I spent 8 weeks recruiting a 5 star from New Jersey just for Penn state to sign him in week 9. I almost threw my controller out the window
My RTG glitched and I got 137 upgrade points in like Week 5, then 137 more after I next booted up the mode. 99 freshman year QB bout to ball my way off of Northwestern
Preach. The player pictures look ridiculous. 6'7 330 black guys with white guy hair who look like WR's. Go on a recruiting site and look at what recruits actually look like.

The disappointment i felt when im in my LSU dynasty and i can’t give my best playmaker the #7 was insane. It was a tradition for me. I NEED to edit my player’s numbers lol
No trophy room, no greatest games, no high school, no team history, and the menu drums are my bugaboos. The kicking game could use a little bit slower meter, on some of those kicks it’s ridiculous.
@yikes6969 Trophy room does matter, especially for Dynasty mode, especially when it was in previous titles. The kicking meter is severely busted while on the road in harsh environments, and the delay is pretty bad after the button press. So. Stfu
I second the pursuit angles. In my Miami Ohio Dynasty I think I have thrown 20 pick sixes (in two seasons) so far, the majority of which have been linebackers or corners catching picks 20-25 yards downfield and being able to run it back without even coming close to getting tackled even though they ran past five offensive players. This may be just my experience but another thing that I have noticed is that you feel home field advantage as a visiting small school, but not so much the other way around. I just played a game between Ohio State and Kennesaw State in Columbus and KSU's 74 overall offense was still able to score over 30 on Ohio State's 90 overall defense.
Personally one of the worst parts of the gsme is how hard it is! I have played several exhibition games on both Varsity & All American Base Difficulty (no sliders) and I cannot stop anyone using a top 15 rated defensive team! It's Ridiculous!

Ik dude, I’m the starting RB and I cant play a full possession because it’s stuck on super sim, no way to turn it off, ruins the game mode for me, I’m in on 1st and 10, get taken out on 2nd and 7, like WTF?
Nah RTG is really testing my patience rn. It feels almost impossible to win sometimes cuz my my receivers are dropping perfect passes and the o-line cant block longer then 2 secs smh
And as a running back my team just stopped running when I became a starter and he falls every time I catch a pass so even if I have room to run it doesn't matter
I love this game. The only thing that really bothers me is that the sideline benches, coolers, etc does not have collision when your player runs into it or throws the ball into it. It just phases through it.
Player editor is what ended the series before. The rules are still weird with all the NIL business. I can live without create a player if it means getting the game. Don't miss the forest for the trees.

ESPN specifically wasn't needed, but some kind of better presentation is. Especially in Dynasty mode. In the older games, one of my favorite things in the menus were the news stories and magazine covers. It felt like the world actually cared about my team. But now the top stories section is just a couple pages about the top ranked teams, which I personally don't care about.
Not including an old school Dynasty /Season mode it's the biggest let down to me. I WANT FULL CONTROL in a mode where I create my player/school, control (play) both offense and defense, scheduling and recruiting. You can play on or offline.
Two issues I've seen: 1. In RTG your coach is an absolute mad man. I have been forced to run RPO passes that never work or stupid running plays at 3rd and 10. There is no logic to the plays they call. 2. In Dynasty I have seen glitches in recruiting. I had several 5 star prospects list me as their number 1 choice, and I made the cut to where I should be able to schedule them to visit my school, but it doesn't allow me to pick a date, and I lose recruits because of this. Very frustrating.
There is literally ZERO reason to not include player editing. What if I don’t want my freshman corner to have a full beard, number 48, and the last name “Smoot”?
Idk why it bothers me, but after you win at home and it shows your players with arms around each other swaying and singing, and the crowd is just jumping up and down and cheering. Would be cool to see a while stadium swaying together and "singing".
My biggest gripe is that if you play as a running back in road to glory you get taken SO MUCH. Even as a first string you get taken out basically every three plays. It’s super frustrating being an 87 rb and getting outcarried by your 75 ovr backup. I’ve also heard this happens at WR too
There’s no reason I can’t create myself on my favorite team that has been apart of damn near every sports game since before swag dream cast was a thing
dropped passes when the defense sneezes on the receiver, can’t edit certain things with generated players in dynasty or their stats, RTG should have more camera angles, not enough accessories with Players just basic accessories and for some reason i can’t create a player
Why is no one talking about how you can’t pick your own plays for RTG…. Completely kills the immersion seeing my coach suggest read options every 3rd and long and never going for it on 4th down.
I was experiencing that as well but to fix it…while backing out of super sim instead of quickly spamming the back button wait threes seconds in-between the menus to let it process. And it will never freeze
One thing I’ve noticed that’s missing that made older college games really stand out from madden was the flexibility you had when making formation subs hopefully they bring formation subs back when they release an update
I’ve thought about uninstalling a few times. The way the computer can just score at will and convert on the craziest 3rd downs are insane. Offense is fine but playing defense is just frustrating. Zone is so broken. The cheerleaders are bald for a brief moment then get hair.
It is but there needs to be a talent differential established. There’s no way Utah’s receivers consistently torched my Alabama secondary all game. Post/Corner routes in this game are extremely OP including shallow routes.
I dont know if this is a bug or if it's meant to be this way, but when playing road to glory I only get the same 2 plays as options to change to. no matter the situation its always the same 2 plays. I hate that
Can you tell your people over at EA to fix road to glory. The glitch where I can be a 99ovr in 30 minutes of playing and also the camer angles. Also tell them to stop having the computer run the ball every down or else have a AI coach that adapts to it so I as CB am not just watching bad play calling when I know what is going to happen.

How is pass protection not mentioned? The blocking is the worst I have ever seen. Multiple guys wiff nearly every play. Before someone says something to start an argument. The blockers are all 90+ getting smoked by guys who are 70's
But can we talk about the actual worst thing about the game? Not having fight songs for the menus. I gotta agree about pursuit angles. Playing defense feels completely pointless because I’m constantly missing tackles. I find myself just soaking up blocks so the cpu can get the tackles.
I simply defense and play offense and after super simming defense I can win blowout victories in Heisman. An issue with defense is that the ai for ur defense will purposely stand like brick walls in zone or stand still as a ball carrier runs by. I got frustrated by watching it happen so often of my DL shedding a block to fill a gap than freezing in place, and if I used swapped it still delayed my inputs to stop the player, essentially forcing me to lose.
It stinks that the sky doesn’t change during the game, the shadows don’t move and that’s unrealistic. When you played older maddens, you’d be able to see the change in the time whether the shadows would be different or it’d be night time. It’s stupid but such an easy fix so hopefully they’ll change that bug
It’s such a good game, but the roughing the kicker penalties from players I don’t even control, and the constant drums as background music are the worst. I miss when they used to play the fight songs of different colleges
I got to a bowl in dynasty and it wouldnt let me go to the next week. Instead I had to go into the game and sim it. The next week was glitched out and eventually worked after the game.
The play calling in rtg is terrible. Even when you use the coach trust to switch the play its worst. Playing as a WR, every throw from the QB is bullet pass.
This is what I've always enjoyed about your content man. your ability to be fair with the games you cover is unmatched. If its good you give props if the game is struggling in an area you call it out. Very refreshing watching your content all these years. keep up the good work man.

I hate that I cannot look at any replay in full screen unless its a touchdown because it instantly goes to the play calling and you can only watch the replay in the small box on the top left.
i mean it's college football a lot of broken tackles but anyways i haven't experienced what other people experienced the game has been fun for me in my experience

I’m having an issue in dynasty where it won’t schedule my traditional rival, like I’m playing as Oklahoma in my dynasty and after my 2024 season Texas won’t appear on my schedule anymore
the attention to detail in this game is spot on except for a couple of small touches here and there like team specific footballs. in college football each team has their own footballs with their team colors and logo while in the game they only use basic versions of the nike, adidas and wilson footballs for every team. adding the team colors/logo onto the footballs would not only add a small touch of realism but also look better. making the footballs look mudded/game prepped would be an extra detail

Glad we have a college game! But not being able to create & edit prospects in dynasty is probably the biggest L. Also I miss high school in RTG lol… other than that I’m enjoying the game 💯
I am loving the game and having a ton of fun. Defense needs a major buff for sure and switching players outside of the switch stick is really bad and almost random feeling. Results in a lot of busted coverage.
I think in future games they should try and change licensing with NCAA and players to where you can edit faces, names, ratings, etc. ik this is the first game in a while and I love it but that is something to work toward, they’re smaller things but they are a fun tool to be able to use, imagine being able to recreate a whole historic team like Tebows Gators or smt
I would rather have all generic rosters that are fully customizable than to have all these NIL rosters I cant edit. Non editable rosters is a non starter in my opinion. Kills the game.
Non-editable rosters is the only way to have the game now, and that is not in EA's control. You can always run 14 on an emulator if you want that, or take one of the indie football games and create every team and player. Personally, I got the game to play football, not to dress up paper dolls.
Road to playoff is so annoying to play , you absolutely play no one BUT OSU , Bama & Georgia . It gets annoying , the tier search does NOT work Mr.Rayweather
Also the bad part of road to glory is the sim issues like I was a 4 star at Ohio State it it had us lose 41-10 against Marshall just causs I didnt play
Not going to completely knock the game for something we knew was the case well before it came out. We knew in order to have the game back it needed real players, and we knew editing would be limited due to that.

Not having espn is not too mucb on an issue but no halftime show, no "upset alert", no scoreboards on what is happening around the league is crazy

Can’t edit ratings, but you can change their gear. The ratings aren’t really that bad to me
They need more cinematics for stadiums & more uniforms. Hopefully, they'll add that in later in the year.

My biggest problem is no number editing and no face changing for recruits, I dont want my freshmen coming in with an entire beard
Yeah this game is chock full of immersion breakers man. The non editable rosters are a borderline dealbreaker.

I had fun with the game over the last week, but I’m done until they fix editing for dynasty mode, and if it’s not fixed by next year, I won’t be getting next year’s game. I can’t just “ignore” my dynasty QB wearing number #35. It looks ridiculous. Should be able to edit their faces too.

The disappointment i felt when im in my LSU dynasty and i can’t give my best playmaker the #7 was insane. It was a tradition for me. I NEED to edit my player’s numbers lol

No trophy room, no greatest games, no high school, no team history, and the menu drums are my bugaboos. The kicking game could use a little bit slower meter, on some of those kicks it’s ridiculous.

@yikes6969 Trophy room does matter, especially for Dynasty mode, especially when it was in previous titles. The kicking meter is severely busted while on the road in harsh environments, and the delay is pretty bad after the button press. So. Stfu

I second the pursuit angles. In my Miami Ohio Dynasty I think I have thrown 20 pick sixes (in two seasons) so far, the majority of which have been linebackers or corners catching picks 20-25 yards downfield and being able to run it back without even coming close to getting tackled even though they ran past five offensive players.
This may be just my experience but another thing that I have noticed is that you feel home field advantage as a visiting small school, but not so much the other way around. I just played a game between Ohio State and Kennesaw State in Columbus and KSU's 74 overall offense was still able to score over 30 on Ohio State's 90 overall defense.

I have played several exhibition games on both Varsity & All American Base Difficulty (no sliders) and I cannot stop anyone using a top 15 rated defensive team! It's Ridiculous!

Ik dude, I’m the starting RB and I cant play a full possession because it’s stuck on super sim, no way to turn it off, ruins the game mode for me, I’m in on 1st and 10, get taken out on 2nd and 7, like WTF?
I think the pursuit angles thing has to deal with the overall of the players, since there is a stat on players named “pursuit”
If you press L1 or Lb while pursuit it helps alot
Nah RTG is really testing my patience rn. It feels almost impossible to win sometimes cuz my my receivers are dropping perfect passes and the o-line cant block longer then 2 secs smh

And as a running back my team just stopped running when I became a starter and he falls every time I catch a pass so even if I have room to run it doesn't matter
I love this game. The only thing that really bothers me is that the sideline benches, coolers, etc does not have collision when your player runs into it or throws the ball into it. It just phases through it.
Dynasty mode need more life in the stories and history after years of sim more stories for sure

ESPN specifically wasn't needed, but some kind of better presentation is. Especially in Dynasty mode. In the older games, one of my favorite things in the menus were the news stories and magazine covers. It felt like the world actually cared about my team. But now the top stories section is just a couple pages about the top ranked teams, which I personally don't care about.

Not including an old school Dynasty /Season mode it's the biggest let down to me. I WANT FULL CONTROL in a mode where I create my player/school, control (play) both offense and defense, scheduling and recruiting. You can play on or offline.

Two issues I've seen: 1. In RTG your coach is an absolute mad man. I have been forced to run RPO passes that never work or stupid running plays at 3rd and 10. There is no logic to the plays they call. 2. In Dynasty I have seen glitches in recruiting. I had several 5 star prospects list me as their number 1 choice, and I made the cut to where I should be able to schedule them to visit my school, but it doesn't allow me to pick a date, and I lose recruits because of this. Very frustrating.

Idk why it bothers me, but after you win at home and it shows your players with arms around each other swaying and singing, and the crowd is just jumping up and down and cheering. Would be cool to see a while stadium swaying together and "singing".
My biggest gripe is that if you play as a running back in road to glory you get taken SO MUCH. Even as a first string you get taken out basically every three plays. It’s super frustrating being an 87 rb and getting outcarried by your 75 ovr backup. I’ve also heard this happens at WR too
You have to adjust this in the main menu settings. Look it up on google. I was extremely frustrated with this as well.
There’s no reason I can’t create myself on my favorite team that has been apart of damn near every sports game since before swag dream cast was a thing

Why is no one talking about how you can’t pick your own plays for RTG…. Completely kills the immersion seeing my coach suggest read options every 3rd and long and never going for it on 4th down.
Can’t create players, can’t edit faces or numbers. Editing options very limited. And the team builder website functions at a low level

Yes seems to happen if you Sim a field goal then skip the kickoff and it freezes before you can get back on offense. Had to restart same game 3 times
I was experiencing that as well but to fix it…while backing out of super sim instead of quickly spamming the back button wait threes seconds in-between the menus to let it process. And it will never freeze

One thing I’ve noticed that’s missing that made older college games really stand out from madden was the flexibility you had when making formation subs hopefully they bring formation subs back when they release an update

NCAA is 10000 times better than any madden ever created. Sure it has a couple issues but pure gameplay and movements it’s realistic and smooth.
It is but there needs to be a talent differential established. There’s no way Utah’s receivers consistently torched my Alabama secondary all game. Post/Corner routes in this game are extremely OP including shallow routes.
I dont know if this is a bug or if it's meant to be this way, but when playing road to glory I only get the same 2 plays as options to change to. no matter the situation its always the same 2 plays. I hate that

Can you tell your people over at EA to fix road to glory. The glitch where I can be a 99ovr in 30 minutes of playing and also the camer angles. Also tell them to stop having the computer run the ball every down or else have a AI coach that adapts to it so I as CB am not just watching bad play calling when I know what is going to happen.

How is pass protection not mentioned? The blocking is the worst I have ever seen. Multiple guys wiff nearly every play.
Before someone says something to start an argument. The blockers are all 90+ getting smoked by guys who are 70's

I gotta agree about pursuit angles. Playing defense feels completely pointless because I’m constantly missing tackles. I find myself just soaking up blocks so the cpu can get the tackles.
I simply defense and play offense and after super simming defense I can win blowout victories in Heisman.
An issue with defense is that the ai for ur defense will purposely stand like brick walls in zone or stand still as a ball carrier runs by. I got frustrated by watching it happen so often of my DL shedding a block to fill a gap than freezing in place, and if I used swapped it still delayed my inputs to stop the player, essentially forcing me to lose.
It stinks that the sky doesn’t change during the game, the shadows don’t move and that’s unrealistic. When you played older maddens, you’d be able to see the change in the time whether the shadows would be different or it’d be night time. It’s stupid but such an easy fix so hopefully they’ll change that bug
RTG teams scoring in damn near impossible times. The coach calling dumb plays at time. The kicker rarely making kicks
It’s such a good game, but the roughing the kicker penalties from players I don’t even control, and the constant drums as background music are the worst.

I like the watch the games of the week when I'm smoking or going to sleep lmao but that being said, it lets you in offline dynasty mode

I got to a bowl in dynasty and it wouldnt let me go to the next week. Instead I had to go into the game and sim it. The next week was glitched out and eventually worked after the game.
The play calling in rtg is terrible. Even when you use the coach trust to switch the play its worst. Playing as a WR, every throw from the QB is bullet pass.
Playing as anything other than QB makes RTG unplayable. And then as a QB... the horrific play calling AI makes THAT basically unplayable.

I have this glitch where I play only offense but I jump on defense it glitches and won’t let me do anything
I ran into that, select play all offense it stopped happening for me.
I hate that I cannot look at any replay in full screen unless its a touchdown because it instantly goes to the play calling and you can only watch the replay in the small box on the top left.
There are way to many broken tackles and the LB’s jump to high, but overall the game is good.
i mean it's college football a lot of broken tackles but anyways i haven't experienced what other people experienced the game has been fun for me in my experience
Yeah! I have seen problems where I threw a pick and their defensive player broke like five to six tackles to get a pick six

I’m having an issue in dynasty where it won’t schedule my traditional rival, like I’m playing as Oklahoma in my dynasty and after my 2024 season Texas won’t appear on my schedule anymore
My coach picks the same 6 plays. Just like my high-school coach.
i’m oklahoma and they still schedule it but in rtg like the other dude said they are calling to same 4-8 plays

the attention to detail in this game is spot on except for a couple of small touches here and there like team specific footballs. in college football each team has their own footballs with their team colors and logo while in the game they only use basic versions of the nike, adidas and wilson footballs for every team. adding the team colors/logo onto the footballs would not only add a small touch of realism but also look better. making the footballs look mudded/game prepped would be an extra detail

I am loving the game and having a ton of fun. Defense needs a major buff for sure and switching players outside of the switch stick is really bad and almost random feeling. Results in a lot of busted coverage.

I think in future games they should try and change licensing with NCAA and players to where you can edit faces, names, ratings, etc. ik this is the first game in a while and I love it but that is something to work toward, they’re smaller things but they are a fun tool to be able to use, imagine being able to recreate a whole historic team like Tebows Gators or smt

Non-editable rosters is the only way to have the game now, and that is not in EA's control. You can always run 14 on an emulator if you want that, or take one of the indie football games and create every team and player. Personally, I got the game to play football, not to dress up paper dolls.
Road to playoff is so annoying to play , you absolutely play no one BUT OSU , Bama & Georgia . It gets annoying , the tier search does NOT work Mr.Rayweather

You can’t edit or create players. Forget the five best/worst, it stops there.
Not going to completely knock the game for something we knew was the case well before it came out. We knew in order to have the game back it needed real players, and we knew editing would be limited due to that.
@@EricRayweather It makes no sense that we can edit “non NIL players”, but we can’t create our own players. EA knows that putting a create a player in the game is not a problem, because if it was a problem they wouldn’t have put RTG in the game.
