See I'm Open Category (OC), and I'm replying to those who r mocking her for her Reservations starting from her school till she stood as an IAS officer,... Before judging her according her reservation... Think once, I don't know how many of u r here with reservations as she has, but my Question to all of u is 1. "Are you all able to clear at least clear Preliminary exam ,Mains as well as Interview with having the same Reservation as Tina has?" AND 2. "Those who r having the same reservation should also become an IAS, because you are having Reservation". 3. Is it that easy to become an IAS Officer by only having Reservation? Then there might be so many ppl across India will be only on Top of UPSC Exams or any other Competitive exams.. Please grow up, there is nothing could be replaced rather than HARDWORK, KNOWLEDGE and DISCIPLINE... than RESERVATION...
Very well said!!! Each and every person who directly or indirectly critises her by reservation need to think this. Are they really equal or more than her to comment her by reservations!! Think broad! Every success in human life associates with hard work, consistency and intelligence!!
I really wish the same. But even more so I wish she doesn't lose faith in love (any type), in people who can be relied on for life, in good men, in the possibility of living an emotionally fulfilled life only with friends and family, and in finding happiness within a new emotional ecosystem that nurtures her in this world of loneliness and people being told they can't be happy single.
I literally admirer Tina mam because she is very hard working from what so ever category she belong but this is the fact that she topped UPSC which is not a cup of tea for anyone. And despite all these things I just want to clear that u can't buy first rank in UPSC from market. So just give respect because she deserve that.
Don't criticize her she is upsc topper of toughest exam of our nation. Although she is Sc but she had dedication and dream to crack this exam if there was no quota yet this girl could crack the exams , don't blame her the success she got was her because she dreamt it. If anyone deserve criticism then the bloody political system of our nation not this brilliant IAS officer.
Yes a coolie in South India cleared state civil services only by using internet from free station wifi.He studied tirelessly along with working hard to make both ends meet. People like him are the true inspiration for indian youth.
No offense. It is a reality that inspite of her talents she would have been eliminated in the preliminary round if she wasn't from reserved category. Must I don't support trolling her as this is her constitutional right. She hasn't done anything illegal. But I think it should come from within that if you are coming from a family which has all the previledges of a creamy layer then u should leave that quota for the needy and fight from general category. As u really don't require any reservations, isn't it?
Yes and Brahmins have 100% reservation in temple entry. It should come to them from within to drop their surnames and apologise for what their ancestors did. It should come from within to contribute to the nation. So please drop your surname first Ms. dutta

@@Loveyoumodi : While there some merit to the argument that you make, the root of it it is how Indian society gets structured around caste. The problem with SCs is they are not a monolith community and change between state to state and even within the same state have multiple sub castes in hierarchy. Most often, the collective wealth of these communities is no where close to the prosperous land owing communities. This devoids them of fiscal capital and consequently political and social capital. Their shot to power is in hanging position as this lack of power then makes their leadership unpalatable to the public if alternate communities that hold power are in picture. This is what led to reservations in the first place.
Though I belong to general category, I just fought a few days ago with a woman that tina would have definitely cleared prelims the next year had she didn't in 2015 n topped the exam because she is exceptional. You are an inspiration. Normal Indians love u
I had always thought that I wouldn't let what others think affect me, but my friend, remember, there are two sides of a coin, caring about what people think and have the passion to prove it to them that you deserve to stand where you are is one major push that keeps you going. On the other hand Athar sir told he is ashamed to say that he got all the privileges and good fortune which his friends were deprived of otherwise they would be standing in his place.THAT'S GRATITUDE.
Fact is she should not have the benefit of reservation. Her parents are both educated and she had more facilities than any "upper class" student. There is no doubt that she is intelligent, but the fact remains that she took advantage of reservation even though she didn't need it. I hope Tina Dabi and Mr. Kataria (SC, IAS; his dad is IAS too) will use their high position to start a dialogue to changing the reservation policy.
Why people r giving negative comments firstly she did hard work then achieve success she set a example for all of us nd those who give negative comments they can't do anything they r jealous
Not everyone who work hard are destined to achieve success. Not every hard work lead to success. She was born with silver spoon. People are not jealous but disgusted at her. She could have used open category. Instead she used SC category and thereby she actually took a seat from a schedule caste candidate who was in need of reservation more than her.

@renu bhandari ROFL..Who told u school, colleges don't have any reservation? Then why in each application form, category of the applicant is being questioned..when I appeared JEE back in 2003, my classmates, having reservation option, got opportunity for admission into better engineering colleges, even though there rank was lesser than me, in the general list. Learn facts properly before commenting on others..There are many Muslims and Christians who claim that they are from.general category and don't have reservation, but they get reservation because of their religion, not caste. In India, except general Hindus, everyone is classified under minor category..49.5% of reservation is meant for nongeneral category based on caste and religion...not only that, reservation is applicable further in jobs, except military, and promotions too in state and central govt and public sector. And the ridiculous topic is that, right to equality just contradicts the reservation system. No one is blaming her, she just used the opportunity and she isn't wrong..The wrong is that simply she is being hyped as the youngest person and first dalit woman to top IAS..What's the need to mention 'Dalit'? Obviously those people who worked hard, got better marks than her, but were out of the race, will be frustrated at it. Check her prelims marks, it was lesser than the cutoff prescribed for the general category..If reservation about caste, wouldn't have been there, this girl wouldn't have been able to clear the prelims itself, forget about finals..

So those who are preparing for this exam don't be discouraged, disheartened and stop self doubt. Just Work hard. If she can, so can you ! Mind it .
And fyki to write good answers you need to work a bit on writing skills too , every topper will tell you that mere knowledge is not enough , so start working a bit on your English 😊 And btw my comment was regarding the content of her speech ,not particularly her English, which was of course neither impressive nor correct.
Tina’s grandfather was an officer with the CISR. He used reservation to get there. He earned enough money to let his children live life with dignity without any social discrimination. I am talking about money because your financial condition has become the main point of your status in the society. Tina’s father, Jaswant Dabi, used reservation and took admission in the prestigious Birla Higher Secondary School, Pilani. Then, he again used reservation to get into Delhi School of Engineering from where he completed B. Tech in 1986. Again, he used reservation to enter the Government sector by clearing Indian Engineering Services - IES - conducted by the UPSC and joined the Telecom Department. He didn’t stop there and used reservation to get promotions.

But they didn't tell that both the rank holders are from reserved categories. The news is presented, 'first dalit woman to clear IAS'..And when people marked that she was able to clear prelims because of reservation, then she came out crying that 'being just 22yr old, she is trolled and mentally harassed because of her caste'...If she is so young and can't handle things, then how is it being expected to take the charge of admin

Not everyone gets 1st rank dude. UPSC itself is not life. But it the power to give life to many. That's why it has a separate status and respect in society. IRS can't be same as IAS. people are giving attempts just to get IAS even after getting IRS. So this can tell which has more recognition.
She achieved so much at very young age. So its okay we can understand.
That's why I don't want to be a topper. A more than average performer has higher stamina to move ahead while toppers live in their old legacy.
The Girl Who burnt Million Asses. Kudos Tina. All the best. You are the Best.
5:40 I can feel you. I hope you stay strong as you were during your preparation. More power to you
People who criticizing her on basis of her economically strong background.... Where are you when lower class are discriminated on caste ground..?? Kbhi Discrimination ke liye bhi awaaz unchi kro...
There is no need to jealous or discriminate why he should support not to abolish sc st act
Who are in love with her red dress ??
I don’t understand what her “being from middle class family” or “rich family” has to take with her achievement. Grow up guys. She worked hard for it. 🌷🤷🏻♀️
You are a good hearted lady without any jealously to see her hardwork . appreciated 😌
@@evilbug haters are gonna hate
She is an amazing person, still people look upto her and is an inspiring person for many. Her hard work and passion to get the services itself speaks volume about her. At the age of 22, not many are able to leave an imprint on the world, her knowledge, her mains answers everything fascinates. So proud to see Tina ma'am on this platform 😀😀
A winner and a warrior !!
Instead of talking about yourself and proving yourself please try to understand why the Indian class criticised your success.Their is no any doubt that you deserve your success but please try to understand that general or unreserved who prepare day and night get out of competition beause their great gandfather had developed a caste system and now they are the victim of it. I am a bhramin and I belong to a unprivileged family my family situation is worst and I have to do tution for my own expense on study and just look on your situation your father is a officer caderd government employee still you get the opportunity and we don't. so please try help in eliminating this system and to prove yourself
Man don't see on her.... U should be proud that u r from low caste... Do self study hard and crack the exam.... After that change this system when u will have powers.... Being poor r rich... It doesn't matter..... If u want change this what is in ur... Then change this in that.... That everbody in world remembers u.... Make history not profession.... All the best... Follow APJ.... He z one of them...
Thats what I was thinking. She hasn't realised the complexity and changes being experienced by our collective society. I'm very hopeful that she'll soon realise it. Kudos to all her success!!
Sir she will never change
the system bcz she got reservation but people like you only can change the system
Had it been you, would you have rejected the rank only because someone 's great grandfather had set up the cast system?
have you ever studied the lives of depressed classes mister we suffer quite harder and difficult life than you .. I can see you being jealous after a sc secured something do you feel shy to speak like this after people of your caste occupied most estimed seats of nation just because youre brahmins and being able to digest success of an SC
