LORERIM 3.0 has several changes to this build. Spell Twine is completely changed and is now NOT a viable option early on (it's now a master spell) Trait system is replaced with a new one, which looks interesting and less exploitive I am currently testing new progression, the same start, birthsign and prep for everything is the same. We now just need to be more careful and use actual healing spells instead of Spell twine crutching us. Stay tuned for updates. Nightblade is also cooking and will be filming soon.
So curious what 3.0 traits you’ll take! I was going to take giantkin cause I was like ok cool I won’t use scrolls or staves. But it also restricts spell books not just skill books like the description states >.
About to start my first LoreRim playthrough as an Imperial Paladin, and for traits I decided to go with Bane of the Wicked and Bulwark. Figured Bulwark would make up for some magic res that Bretons get, and to offset the stamina debuffs for running/sprinting I'm just gonna use food and potions. Looking forward to it!
Absolutely stellar build, I made a character before my new Paladin just to feel things out and was totally lost. This video not only gave me a build that can actually reliably make it to the end game, but it gave me the understanding to use the magic system to its fullest potential
Absolutely worth the wait. I always thought you were being a bit too perfectionist holding out for a stable and longer-lasting version of LoreRim to continue the idea of making this build guide, but now I see why. The attention to detail is amazing, the top-notch presentation, the perfected ideas behind this build, and the brilliant step-by-step, 10/10 banger. Here's hoping we'll be seeing more build guides like this in the future. Take your time as this has cooked to perfection.
I'll be sure to keep it updated once 3.0 comes out and then move on to testing out new character ideas. Glad you enjoyed the video! Happy holy smiting!
Lorerim is hard, and I was clueless when I started playing. I was playing a mage, and didn’t know why the spell books popped up at each level, so I just backed out. I learned, after working to get to level 20, that I could have taken around 40 spells. This is the only guide I’ve found that has helped me, thank you. Please keep making them!!!
God bless you Zen. You are doing the lords work. You could turn these builds into cinematic movies. With your editing skills why aren’t you just making movies all the time? You got this man. 🎉
Love how the combat forces you to buff and debuff to survive encounters, i haven't played Skyrim in years but I'm gonna jump back in over the holidays with LoreRim
This video is fantastic, the build is great and I've been loving playing it. one thing i wish is there was a companion written guide to go along with it!
this video is amazing!!! You inspire me i couldn't be more happy then to be apart of your community, i just want to say thanks for your great content. i look forward to more
You are a GOD. I've loved paladins ever since I first laid eyes on one in 2004 in vanilla wow and this video really does them justice. Plus it's a great guide for Lorerim top tier content
I remember your Warframe vids, it seems you're still a straght up fucking demon with the video editing and in-game capture, Insanely cool that you're still going! I hope your channel explodes soon, you actually deserve way more views
If anyone gets confused on where to spend the extra level 8 perk point, rewatch 3:47 time index in the video. I was thoroughly confused but Zen pointed that out.
Hey @Zen cant thank you enough. Your videos has made me relive my childhood game in such an emphatic fashion! Blown away by this modlist and the discord community. Keep up the amazing content, brother ❤.
Glad you enjoyed it! getting feedback like this , makes the all the weeks / months of research, testing, filming and editing worthwhile! I'm going to hold off for Lorerim 3.0 for more builds and in the mean time play some Path of Exile 2. Expect to see a Bard Illusionist, Barbarian, Nightblade and maybe a Druid in the future

Awesome video! I also think I'll be trying this for my 3.0 build. Keep up the great content and it would be great to see similar videos for other builds. Cheers!
Really well made video! I hope you continue to make other build showcases like this. Fingers crossed for an Altmer conjurer build Mannimarco style when 3.0 releases with Undeath ;)
Please do a Death Knight build, basically a fallen palladin that broke his oath, excells in melee, frost spells, and necromancy as opposed to restoration
This is very interesting to watch from the perspective of a game designer, can you do a guide on generally how lorerim changes from the vanilla game and or how the early game and intricacies of the mod work?
You should be hired by gaming companies for this kind of quality. Obviously, the builds are great, but the trailers / AAA level intros and scenes are amazing. Will you be doing a monk build next?
I've played a juiced level 50 monk recently but i wasn't sold on Hand to hand combat sadly, the Precision mod makes fighting with fists in 3rd person a little inconsistent, hits that look like they landed don't often register. Which then made me crutch on magic too much and it ended up been more like an Air Bender style Mage
@@RelentlessZen Ahh gotcha thats awesome! I have been keeping an eye on LoreRim for about 6 months now and I think I am going to finally try it when 3.0 drops on Christmas lol. Looking forward to taking some ideas from your builds man!
I already mention in the video prior to this you need to maintain the left side of the heavy armor tree alongside your spell breakpoints. figured it was self explanatory
Just an update you may find interesting, I actually just managed to buy Radiant Oppression off Florentius at the Dawnguard. Idk if he always sells it, but theres at least a chance.

You seem to really enjoy Requiem gameplay. I feel it's significantly more tactical and open to theorycrafting than any other type of perk mod, and manages to stay difficult until a certain point, but after that point the power feels justified anyway, even if you become way too powerful.
Aedric Scepter didn’t spawn for me and I looked everywhere, the place is destroyed by vampires so idk where it would be. Is there another way to get it? 6:01
@ZEN I know you said you wouldn't recommend the custom patching replacer, but is there a guide on how to do that? I would love to have that texture for my paladin build.
Im contemplating downloading lorerim, but I wished to know if you knew what mod implements the point distribution system when leveling. I like the format of it and if possible would like to use it outside of lorerim regardless of what i choose to do. And the mod that makes it to where you can choose spells when you take specific perks when leveling.
Does anyone know where or how to obtain the spell twine spell book if Tolfdir does not have it? I've tried restarting the game and letting days pass but he still doesn't have it for sale.
So I'm at the Tower of Mzark and don't have a shock mace. How exactly did you bait it to open the door for you? Im just letting him beat me up right now lol
