Does anyone 🤔 know where I could maybe find copies of that sixth picture 📸 where Edie is posing in a very sexy way on top of Andy Warhol, along with the presence of the figure (actor?) on the right?
the smile of Edie now radiant in heaven 🕊️ her earrings are just so unique & her beautiful looks of innocence & touch of sadness Rest in Paradise sweet angel 🌸💮🏵️🌺🌼
The definitive book, Edie, by Jean Stein and George Plimpton is an amazing spell-binding Edie biography. It also has terrific historical photos. The format of the book is to tell Edie’s life story through quoting fascinating people who were from the same scenes inhabited by Edie and her family & friends, by individuals who were present in various episodes in her life or who were part of the underground cultural scene. It starts with Society old money ancestors and moves up to the heart of the Bohemian world. The authenticity is astonishing, both about Edie and also about Warhol & Co. I rate this book a 12 on a scale of 1-10.
@@MichaelHartman-qt4mpI didn't know him but I knew some from his crowd, that snobby, condescending attitude was something he and his friends were known for
She was beautiful and love her eyebrow which stands out from rest of the actresses in that era .. rich doesn’t means happy .. trauma pushed her into wrong path and ultimately she died … rip
She started on the speed at Warhol’s, but I don't think Andy gave it to her. In Factory, it shows Brigid Berlin introducing her to “pokes”, a shot of amphetamines. Who knows who the actual people were?
She must of been terrified of her world. It happens to the rich for sure, seen too many times. She should of isolated herself maybe things would of been better.
There were so many cheap thrills surrounding her. It was a time of exploration and experimentation . Her good friend Andy Warhol was at the apex of this new counterculture, now called pop culture. I’m not certain of this, but before a person can commit themselves to reform, they need to feel dystopia. For a long time Edie was living in euphoria 24-7..
Unless Kyra Sedgewick made it by 1971, you have read something inaccurate. Edie overdosed in 1971. Kyra was about six years old. Kyra and Edie do share the same middle name, Minturn. As for her family, she loved her siblings. Her father was an abusive parent, and mummy wasn't available.
He was drawn to her immediately. The adverb follows the verb on purpose. One cannot describe an action that has not yet occurred. One is labeling a behavior the other is describing an action. Please learn the difference. Thank you.
I think they both were in love with each other but they didn't want all moving their friendship so that's something that was left out of the movie that was the only woman he ever love
I love her!!!❤ I can't remember the name of the book about her life, she was so famous. RIP Edie, you left us too young. Man, your videos are awesome. Thanks for Edie short, beautiful photos and narration ❤😭💖.
🤔 She died at 28? That's fascinating, considering the age 27 curse about being the time when young geniuses overdose, die in plane crashes, commit suicide, choke on their vomit! I need to study this phenomenon. There's something to it.
Who was her great grandfather? Fun Fact: There were fifty-six signers of the Declaration 📜 of Independence, one of whom, Charles Carroll, was Catholic and ended up outliving the others (he died in 1832). Carroll also witnessed the Anti-Masonic, National Republican, and Democratic conventions of 1831-32, the first of which met in September, 1831. Also, all three party conventions met in Baltimore, Maryland, Carroll's hometown.
Kyra Sedgwick, kinda favors her in looks. I remember her, she was around when I was grade school. I think there was a movie based on her life, I don't swear by it. But if memory serves, I may or may be correct. RIP Edie Sedgwick.🪽🪽
Sienna Miller did a great job play Edie in Factory Girl , one of my fav movie .. RIP Angel🕊️

How young was she in that picture 📸 where she has long, dark hair? RIP 🙏
She has a beautiful iconic 60’s look with a bit of a bohemian twist. Beautiful young lady. Sad that she left us so young. God Bless.
The Cult has a great song called “Edie (Ciao Baby)” from the Sonic Temple album.
4 walls down in Queens
Was that song about her? I always wondered who Edie was.
Title must have been inspired by _Ciao, Manhattan._
Yes! One of my favorite songs!

Warhol screwed her over...
I wonder if Warhol really did say "Edie who?" when asked if he heard about her death. 😶
Andy was not a good person.
@Jamie Warhol might have been a bad person in general, but I highly doubt that he would've said something as callous as that quote of yours.
