Been lurking around and enjoying the videos! I just hit 2k in sports car and hoping to pursue more in the M2 series! Been looking to post some videos this year, especially both from the official races and the league I'm a part of. I play mainly in VR so it's a nice perspective. Keep up the work and I enjoy the videos!
Wow, congrats on hitting that 2K in the sports cars. You have definitely got me beat. I can barely keep the M2 on the track lol You should definitely post some videos though, I'm sure a lot of people like myself would love to see your perspective. If you have any questions or there's any way I can help with that, I'd be happy to. I got a discord link in my bio when we could easily schedule a call if you're interested. Happy racing and congrats again on hitting 2K. Cheers!
btw if you start irffb and it does not show the window just kill the task in Task Manager and restart it over and over untill it works, it took me some time to figure that out ..
Honestly didn't even notice that I'll double check on that next time I sit down at the rig. Thanks and keep the advice coming. I take it all very seriously.
Is your FFB strength at 100% in the Fanatec software? You want that to be maxed out in order to utilize all of your available torque and fine tune the strength in game to minimize your chance of clipping. Looks like you are still clipping a little bit on the high speed corners but way better than before. I think you're clipping less in the ferrari too. Anyway, excited to see your upcoming races!
Okay so I did a bit of research on force feedback and most of what I found indicated that you do want a small amount of clipping for like a fraction of a second during high torque moments. With that said I looked at the footage and I think I'm clipping just a bit more then they are talking about I do have my force feedback set to 100% in the fan attack software though. I think I just had it set so high for so long that I got used to it and now it feels gentle. Thanks for the heads up though I'll go ahead and drop it down a little bit more.
your throttle is never at 100% make sure to fix that in the settings! it only goes to 99%.. Try braking earlyer and trail more Try to rotate the car more (while trailing ) so you can be on the throttle a bit sooner use more track limits on corner entry especially 1st and last corners
I'll definitely fix that in the settings. This is perfect advice I'll start adding this into my practice routine this week. Thanks a lot for the helpful advice and cheers!
