  • After giving a speech outlining his position on the Israel-Gaza crisis, pro-Palestinian protestors chanted ‘you’re a criminal’ at Keir Starmer.
The Labour leader is facing increasing pressure from his own party to call for a ceasefire. But in his speech at Chatham House, he argued that a ‘humanitarian pause’ was the ‘only credible approach’.
Both the Conservative Party and the Labour Party support a pause in the fighting to let aid into Gaza, and to let civilians evacuate. But neither support a ceasefire.
With more than 60 Labour Party MPs calling for a ceasefire, Keir Starmer’s position on the crisis is now seen as a major test of his leadership.

  • @jamalrobinson2159

In all my years of watching politicians flip flop Mr Starmer is the 🐐

  • @TruthShallSetYouFree2023

This guy had a meeting with Israel along with Priti Patel and Corbyn was taken out. Now you know why…

  • @philtindale4629

What a gutless leader of the labour party.

  • @thepodbaydoorshal

There goes his last chance of getting a majority (all he cares about). We simply cannot afford to have greasy, spineless cowards like this leading us in times like these. There's not an ounce of courage or fortitude in this man.

  • @orangepeel8593

We need a new party with MP who have been removed from their party for standing up for humanity.

  • @kevinjackson292

I can't believe that Starmer believes the status quo of murder in Gaza should not end immediately.

  • @user-zd9pj5kb8x

Hello, the prime minister of the UK went all the way to Israel to say we hope you win… not in my name why aren’t you slamming him… to be clear, I’m not supporting Starmer I just wanna know why Sunak is not getting what he deserves

  • @Ben-Downlow.

At least Thatcher stood dor something (i'm no fan) I miss the old days when politicians had to prove their calibre quick wits intelligence and integrity.

  • @adams3552

    "Humans rights lawyer"

  • @poshgentleman559

This is just a taster of what things will be like when Starmer is PM. Every mole hill will become a mountain, every minor problem, blown out of proportion. On the other side of the coin: these people are angry because others of their faith are suffering in gaza......but l see very few people condeming what happened in Israel, this has been swept under the carpet. Compare the behaviour of these protestors, with the dignified vigil held in London for the victims in Israel. Rage and a bull at a gate approach will not work: this is what has caused this war.

    Look what open borders do.

  • @TheSolarwaves

"I don't believe in a ceasefire for 2 reasons: 1. Israel paid for my political campaign and owns me 2. Israel owns me..."

  • @Spaceman-jb7hf

I feel like such a fool. I am a member of the Labour party and would have voted for him. That's the end of that.

  • @hapijen4828

😂Is there humanity, tolerance, justice, honesty and accountability in the world? Cruelty, genocide is going on. If the occupation is not supported, the so-called gentlemen cannot become political leaders. They are his manifestation.

  • @hjz2011

Kindness towards the enemy meant being cruel to yourself.

  • @RizwanY37

Why is every politician on the same line? He is a puppet of the same behind the scenes power as well.

  • @abdullahiahmed119

He betrayed, Jeremy C, what goes around comes around.
