‘You’re a Criminal’ - Keir Starmer Heckled by Pro-Palestine Protestors

  • After giving a speech outlining his position on the Israel-Gaza crisis, pro-Palestinian protestors chanted ‘you’re a criminal’ at Keir Starmer.
The Labour leader is facing increasing pressure from his own party to call for a ceasefire. But in his speech at Chatham House, he argued that a ‘humanitarian pause’ was the ‘only credible approach’.
Both the Conservative Party and the Labour Party support a pause in the fighting to let aid into Gaza, and to let civilians evacuate. But neither support a ceasefire.
With more than 60 Labour Party MPs calling for a ceasefire, Keir Starmer’s position on the crisis is now seen as a major test of his leadership.

@@megaham1552 No, he didn’t ? Priti Patel, who was forced to resign as Britain's international aid minister last week after secret meetings with Israeli officials during a "family holiday", offers a small, opaque window on the UK's powerful Israel lobby.
Ms Patel's off-the-books meetings with 12 Israelis, including prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, were organised by a British lobbyist in violation of government rules requiring careful documentation of official meetings. That is to prevent conflicts of interest and illicit lobbying by foreign powers.
Government protocol was flouted again when Ms Patel headed to the Golan Heights, occupied Syrian territory, escorted by the Israeli army. There she was shown an Israeli military field hospital that patches up Syrians, including Al Qaeda-affiliated fighters, wounded in Syria's civil war.
Afterwards, Ms Patel pressed for the Israeli army, one of the most powerful in the world, to receive a chunk of Britain's overseas aid. Meanwhile, she has sought to cut aid to the Palestinians, including to vital projects in Gaza. A clue as to how she reached such absurd "humanitarian" priorities is provided in the figure of Stuart Polak, mentor on her Israel "holiday".
I support Zionism without qualification” - those are the words of the UK Labour Party’s new leader, Keir Starmer.
Starmer won the membership election to succeed left-winger and Palestine solidarity veteran Jeremy Corbyn last weekend.
His first act as leader has been to declare the party’s allegiance to the Israel lobby, and to signal an impending purge of the left wing of the party membership under the pretext of combating “Labour anti-Semitism.”
Throughout his four and a half years as Labour leader, Corbyn was incessantly defamed with a manufactured anti-Semitism crisis by the the Israel lobby and by the right wing of his own party.

Starmer, a so-called ‘human rights lawyer’ virtually condones war crimes. Would he condemn similar bombing attacks if it was Russia? This is just a taster of what things will be like when Starmer is PM. Every mole hill will become a mountain, every minor problem, blown out of proportion. On the other side of the coin: these people are angry because others of their faith are suffering in gaza......but l see very few people condeming what happened in Israel, this has been swept under the carpet. Compare the behaviour of these protestors, with the dignified vigil held in London for the victims in Israel. Rage and a bull at a gate approach will not work: this is what has caused this war.

Crooked Netanyahu deliberately and craftily built up Hamas to be where it is today and he admitted it many years ago to some of his colleagues saying "with Hamas we make sure there will never be a Palestinian State" Look he is up on fraud and bribery charges and he absolutely wants permanent war because the moment it stops he is in big trouble from his own people and possibly jail time.

So supporting further racist genocide by the Western-backed settler-colonial entity associated with his wife's family hangs out in comfort on land stolen from ethnically cleansed natives forced to live in a prison camp on illegally occupied territory is fine with you. Mahatma Gandhi called Zionism a Crime Against Humanity. He is putting his personal relationships and the West's neocolonial interests before Humanity. And he claims to be a Socialist - I hope he loses his chance to become PM for his support for the War Crimes where Rishi the sepoy as PM is culpable in his guilt as is Biden.

What should really be worrying Starmer is that the people calling him a criminal are the people who would otherwise vote for his party. And there are a lot more of them than just in this video.
Starmer is another in the long line of labour ‘leaders’ who are absolutely awful at politics and leading. How do useless people like starmer get these positions?

    • @FranzBieberkopf
      @FranzBieberkopf 10 месяцев назад

:Probably because his predecessor was such a disaster.
The people calling him a criminal are the worshippers of St Jeremy, who led Labour into the 2019 disaster-they would never vote for Starmer anyway,. Given St Jeremy's disciples are now totally irrelevant, losing their support is good for Labour
I'd hesitate to call a party leader whose party is 20% ahead in the polls "useless".
