I discovered Let's Read and Joel before Mr Nightmare and after listening to Joel I struggle alot with listening to Mr Nightmare. I guess you get so used to listening to a voice and when you've found one really good, you can listen to others but it becomes a little struggle. The stories are great and I really want to hear them so I endure
I just have to say this for all the parents out there, the ren fair is full of child predators even employees. My moms ex husband worked there probably still does. She witnessed the “after hours parties” people walked around fully nude with small children everywhere. My moms ex husband was a sick individual an he fits in perfectly there.
the first story was very terrifying. one of the craziest stroies i've heard thus far on this channel. a bunch of dorky tweens ding-dong ditched you so now you want to kidnap a child and then tried to murder his whole family. kid is so blessed to have very attentive and protective parents because it would've ended badly and quickly for him. just a small silly event challanged his whole family's fate.
First story: We used to call that 'game' knock down ginger' I have no clue why. I'm 60 and my mum who's 80 said they called it 'Knocking dolly's out of bed' lol We're from London UK. Glad the rest of story 1 was finally shared. The first part has been told on all the similar channels but this is the first time I've heard it with the continuation. I will assume the story is true as there isn't really anything to indicate otherwise. I do think OP is leaving some details out of the story. He had my sympathy until they broke into the old guys house. There's no excuse for that, curious kids or not. If you're that scared and he's causing that many problems you don't go looking for more trouble. You sure tf don't go breaking and entering especially if he's already tried to "kidnap" you once. They also initiated the whole interaction by ding dong ditch. There's a big possibility they did other things to provoke the old man and OP left those details to make himself look more like the victim. Yea, old man broke into their house at the end and all that happened...maybe it was in retaliation to his home being broken in to. People know if their shits been touched and kids are too dumb and careless. They left telltale signs, maybe someone witnessed them. Old man didn't have any business doing what he did. But like I said, stuff is missing from this story. There's some holes. Sounds like a back and forth neighborhood feud. The one reason I can't be sympathetic towards OP is they don't seem to take any responsibility for anything they did. Thinking about it some more, the first part with apron and all really doesn't connect well to the rest of the story either, it does not make sense. I don't know. The absurdity of it all, maybe it is fake because the more you think about it the less it makes sense.
I came to say pretty much the same thing, though, I do think the man went a little overboard with some things, these kids were really jerks. Sometimes it almost feels like the author sounds entitled, like they shouldn’t have had repercussions for breaking into someone’s house, and then dealing with the behavior after. Obviously, the guy seems a little unhinged, but if the story is true, these kids really just have no respect for anyone.
i kept thinking about how much the parents (at least the mom) enabled their poor behavior. and why did she keep letting them run around the neighborhood alone ???
I called it I was thinking the man was probably some sort of ex military probably special forces. He was trying to teach the kids a little respect. I really don't feel bad for the kid or his cousin they did this they started this they should of never trespassed' on the old mans, property. I know what a lot of you are thinking they were just kids. Yea your right they were just. Kids but still they should of never messed with a stranger. When you trespass on some ones property you never know how they are going to react. I hope this kid learned his lesson.
You guys are all harsh. You’re presuming things that weren’t in the story. The old guy doesn’t get a pass on beating up and kidnapping little kids. He doesn’t get a pass on stalking their home, attacking the parents with brass knuckles and a hatchet either. You don’t blame kids for that horrendous behaviour of the old man. He was free to ring the cops just like the family did. The parents kept the kids on a tight leash and he still got the little one in the supermarket, then at the fair with his parents there! Victim blaming kids! So if he’d killed a kid by using that hatchet after they were fleeing from the knock and run, serves the kid right does it? He rang a doorbell and ran away, punishable by death? Oh but mum enabled them to be out and about! Oh and kids need to learn a lesson! Seriously!
@@jojowynne233bruh I agree. Even thought I think that the Daniel kid was really stupid and selfish breaking into the old man's home after the hassle OP's parent went though. But no, no sane adult goes after children like that for a ring and run. Even if they trespass, you can just ring the police and talk to the parents like a normal and decent human being. This old man was completely crazy and needs some mental health treatment. If you think that kids deserve to get beaten and stalked for a ring and run game, you should go see a therapist.
I like the dad in the first story and think he did almost everything right except at the end how tf could u run to the other room and leave your wife to deal with the guy. Unless I was alone there’s no way I’d do that if I had my family in the house to protect I wouldn’t take my eyes off the guy and tell my wife to take the kids and lock themselves in a room and call the cops and maybe they’d get there before I remove the man’s heart and feed it to him
In no way was that the woman’s fault call me a misogynist if u want but I’m old fashioned and I believe as a man it’s my job to protect idc if it’s my wife and kids, a gf or just a friend that’s a female u go lock yourself in a room with a weapon and call the police and I’ll stay here and do whatever I have to in order to keep the threat away from u

Thanks so much for the great stories. In Australia when I was growing up we used to call knock & run Knick Knock, I think because we’d nick off after we knocked but Knock Knick sounded stupid. 😂 I like seeing the different names people have put up. Story #1 was so engaging and came to a life and death battle ending. Those teenage girls hiding is half believable as when you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be and something happens, you’ll do anything to try and hide it. Lol Just that goofy but creepy picture of the bald, bug-eyed old man staring into a peephole made me want to listen to your stories. Great compilation! And narration too!
That picture shows hanging pictures and decoration on the background and looks like the interior of a flat. So the view is from an OUTSIDER looking into a peephole, so the old man if anything is more likely to be the innocent party.
The first LONG story - most of the problems came from kids being unruly, antagonizing an unstable old man. Mommy knew the threats the old man allegedly made, told daddy but they were neglectful parents who still let their kids go shopping alone, lose track of them at a festival and run the neighborhood still tormenting this old man yet acting like victims.
lol OP's dad got his ass kicked by an old man? Not even the rage from the old guy trying to kidnap his son could carry him to victory...over an old man? lol wtf
@@PrettyGhostX Yeah I've noticed a lot of the stories on these channels have really unrealistically weak main characters. Especially the ones about girls being stalked by some creeper, they always inevitably end up giving the creeps their phone number and putting up with them for months. But I think the worst I've heard is one where a guy supposedly sees a r*** in progress in a dark parking lot, and the r***-ist has the girl bent over and is slugging the girl in the face as he's doing it, and the dude who sees this just yells at the guy, they make eye contact, then the guy telling the story gets scared and runs away and doesn't even call the cops lol like wtf...if that's a real story then both the ****-ist and the guy telling the story both belong in prison.
Imagine not calling your parents because getting caught sneaking out was scarier than preserving your life. How were they not they first people they thought to call?
The first story is waaay too jumbled and all over the place. Hard to follow. But also sounded like grumpy old men I met when I visited my grandparents in their retirement community, and I kicked or hit a ball in the wrong yard. And then the old man had it out for me or messed with me every time I walked around the community. True stories. This one was waay too exaggerated and obviously false. At one point, it sounded like the movie Don't Breathe. Then the old man broke into his home and attacked his parents??? The story is false, but the jumbled continuity makes it hard to listen to.
The old man you speak of my friend. Did not ‘have/had it out’ for you. Think you were meaning he ‘had it IN for you’🙂I think those ‘kid/young person hating’ old people are despicable! The sight and sound of kids having fun. Their job! As kids. Irritates them. 🤷🏼♀️Grumpy. Bitter.
Ding-dong ditch. In the UK we called it "knock-a-door run" We also used to tie cotton to a door knocker and spool it over the road. We then pulled the cotton to knock the knocker. Because it was dark they wouldnt notice the cotton string when they opened the door to find no one there The second they shut the door we'd do it again. We'd do this 4 or 5 times before our laughter would give us away. For the most part it was just kids being annoying kids, but a couple of times people were super freaked out. I thought it was hilarious at the time but now I look back and feel a bit bad for the people we genuinely scared.
Wait, the 2 girls hiding from the truck by the pool house/ garbage dumpster ( if I remember correctly) were terrified and called every body they knew EXCEPT the cops and their parents?? Hmm 🤔
That is when I was like that is a pure BS story. Let's call the entire phone book of random people except for the cops. Even before that, they mentioned "we walked around the pick-up truck 3 time without getting caught". I cracked up at that. There is no way two D**m girls were able to outsmart a guy looking for them by hiding and walking around a pick-up truck 3 times. That was def a made up story!!
In the 7th story first of all those girls need new friends cause those guys they “dressed to impress” r losers. U never let a girl walk home like that and not one of their so called friends answered till 5 am? Like I said they need some new friends. Also at no point did either of them think to call the cops? They’d rather freeze to death or risk those guys catching them which will be a much worse death then call the cops and have help arrive within minutes I can’t understand that.

Whos the artist in all of your thumbnails?

TURN THE BEAT AROUND 💃
Love to hear per-cus-sion.
@@lesliebean4594 yes yes yes happy friday disco babe!!
Imagine not calling your parents because getting caught sneaking out was scarier than preserving your life. How were they not they first people they thought to call?
Thumbnail popped up and scared the hell out of me
❤❤❤
Listen to your inner voice when something doesn't feel right and trust your instincts always.
27:52 Mama is a G. Damn near John Wick protecting her family.
We called it something different then knock and run 👍🏿
😂
We called it nig ger knocking. 😅
Yes, we did too 🤎✊
Love the stories. That mans face is disturbing… those 👀
🎉
🤷🏼♀️Grumpy. Bitter.
Exactly, very fake sounding
The picture on screen is scary all by itself. 😊
Your mom has an old man swinging a hatchet at her and your dad dips to the other room and calls the cops... lolol I hope that story is fake
Yeah I immediately thought this is fake😆
Honestly I had such a hard day today and I plan to cry myself to sleep, atleast the scary stories will always be here for me
Hoping things get better for you, bud.
Ding-dong ditch. In the UK we called it "knock-a-door run"
We also used to tie cotton to a door knocker and spool it over the road. We then pulled the cotton to knock the knocker. Because it was dark they wouldnt notice the cotton string when they opened the door to find no one there
The second they shut the door we'd do it again.
Hmm 🤔
Yeah Exactly my tought.. even waited for hours while the dudes still drove around n looked for them...
Like Wtf? 🤯
@@khalidf1 😅 ye def sound like it
That old man looks like squidward i guess let that be a lesson don't piss off old men
People need to call the cops on creepers. They will go after others if you don't.
Who else is watching this while they at work again?👨🏾🔧
💌
fun fact : you are less likely to get human trafficked if you have tattoos ! i believe it is because it makes you more identifiable
Yes put one in your forehead/face😆 But yes true fact👍
That first story is so creepy.
It's 2024, and it's 100 degrees in Texas. For that last story, I would have 1000% jumped in that strangers van just for the AC!😅
32:49 Ayoo what? 🤨📸
