How things have changed in 40 years when to see a dirty movie you had to rent a roll of celluloid and a projector! And how things unfortunately are still the same as with the Zitelli story, which was remarkably groundbreaking at the time. And I love how Danny Arnold had his company of regulars and kept continuity (like Levitt’s “I was the field associate” comment). Barney Miller truly deserves its status as a cult classic.

Still doesn't mean that any decent father would want a disrespectful dog like Wojciechowicz dating his daughter. Wojo has no regard for women, and freely admits he's just out to use women for sex and dump them. It shows his lack of respect that he would talk to Barney about his daughter that way.
Does the Owner of the Channel ever respond to the Comments? Or is it a Bot 🤔? I've watched all of the Parts of Barney Miller and have not seen one response to any of the comments . If I'm wrong I apologize. It may just be me 🙄.
I was a very young when this show was in syndication. I just remember the theme song. But they never seemed to show them doing cop shit outside the precinct.

Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
A great, great show. But did you American people actually watch it as an incidental among a forest of ads? Blimey, this is the homeland calling :-). Why would you DO that?
Dude, money runs everything over here! Right? The ads are just a reminder of that. You might as well ask why any of us choose to live in a world that is a blizzard of advertising. (tip: if you're watching on your phone just right tap the screen a few times to fast forward the ads- then enjoy this fantastic show! Alright, mate? 😃)

What an absolutely fantastic show; to me the best of all time. When I need a lift, this is the one that does it, especially if Bruno Binder is in it.

Domino’s really was like cardboard with ketchup and cheese. If it wasn’t they wouldn’t have changed it.
I had Dominos in 2007 with a girlfriend at the time, we ordered it in PA in a hotel, we both took two bites, and ran to the bathroom to vomit
It's the worst pizza on the market. it's far worse than Pizza Hut and anything else. Cardboard, ketchup and cheese...great description.
