- SSGSS Goku vs SSGSS Vegeta! Dragon Ball Z Devolution is a free browser Dragon Ball Z game! The mechanics are simple, but the content is impressive! Pretty much every character from Dragon Ball Z is in this game, even the farmer with the shotgun from Episode 1!

Dragon Ball Z Devolution is a fan-made fighting game, tribute to Akira Toriyama for the tremendous work he has done in drawing the 42 volumes of the Dragon Ball series from 1984 to 1995.
It is NOT produced or under license from TOEI ANIMATION or FUNimation.

Overview
History
The creation of Dragon Ball Z Devolution began in 1999 as a game for the TI-89 calculator. The graphic style was inspired by the RPG Dragon Ball Z: Goku Gekitōden on GameBoy. But it's development was quickly halted.
In 2004, the basics of the game were transposed to Adobe Flash. The first playable release was named Dragon Ball Z: Tribute. The graphics were black & white, it had few characters and no music. This old version can still be played on Newgrounds.
In 2010, the development started once again to become the game it is today. Thanks to the help of several fans all over the world, Dragon Ball Z Devolution now have a complete story mode with tons of unlockable content and a custom 8-bits music soundtrack.
Since, Dragon Ball Z Devolution is still in a non-stop development state with nice features being added from time to time. The next release will have all the Side Stories characters, and it will be launched by the end of august 2013.
Gameplay
Movements
Press arrows to move around.
Double-tap a direction to move faster.
Protection and KI
Press DEFENSE (c key) to protect at close range with the ennemy, or to protect and *If you are far away, it will also charge KI.
Attack moves
Press ATTACK (x key) to perform the attack moves at close range or if you have no KI.
Double-tap the direction key toward the ennemy while pressing ATTACK to perform a Dash Attack.
Dash Attack can break the ennemy's guard, or knock him down in one blast.
KI blasts
Press ATTACK to concentrate KI into a KI blast when you are far away. Release ATTACK to launch it. The direction of the KI blast is automatic.
The size of the KI blast depends on the amount of KI concentrated into it.
Charge one bar or more to perform a big KI blast.
If two big KI blasts collide, press ATTACK repeteadly to push it toward the ennemy.
Powering up
Some fighters can transform when their KI reach their maximum.

That's the point Goku didn't transform until later only because if Vegeta would have lost his transformation Goku would have had an advantage to take him down

Hey pungence just to throw this out there if u play roblox it has multiple dragon Ball z servers and if u play them u can lean skills learn moves go super sayian 1 2 3 and supersayian God and transform into the God of destuction as it goes on and I hope u consider this and make it a series.

Frieza's power level in his first form when he first see him is 530,000. In Ressurection F his first form's power level was 1,300,000 while his second form's original power level was 1,000,000.

tip charge up your ki and when you see the opponent is about to shoot a ki blast quickly dodge the attack and shoot your ki blast at the opponent (do it while they are shooting at nothing) works best at close range

hey Joe I'm one of your fans and I have a tip that helps when playing DBZ Devolution when you see the game pop up and the tab for another one click on the tabbed game and then exit out of it then start playing and Shenron should appear and he will let you pick two things immortality and power both will give you infinite health and ki

Did you know you can be Golden Frieza? Of course because SSGSS Goku and Vegeta are there, but there is a trick to it. It's hard because the Icon for it is the same as regular frieza. On the character select menu, first go to Frieza, then go 2 wheels back to Frieza again. and the name should be Frieza Ultimate Form but in Base form picture. He starts in base, then you can transform to final form , and then Golden Form. Just like in movie.

hey pungence. Im a big fan, I enjoy your vids very much. I have a recommendation that helps me pay the game better. Try moving with W, A, S, and D. Attack with K, and block/charge ki with L. Thx for all the great vids.

Chiaotzu can self destruct in the game when you charge up his ki press X and C at the same time and he will blow up
Chiatzu can do self destruct by pressing attack and defense when his ki bar is full
