This is how its done! Video is top tier, audio is great and no screaming and/or excessive talking. Well done!!
We try out best to keep it clean, the excitement and screaming happens AFTER the tornado lifts haha
@@MaxOlsonChasing haha that is awesome! 😂
Must be talking about Reed Timmer
@@DDMEGADUDU85 Has to be talking about Reed. The guy that wants to be more glamorous than the tornado itself.
@@devonmcclain1421 How did you know we were speaking about God Timmer? He must be really popular... lol
I'm very fascinated by severe weather but at 7:09 the initial sight of that Tornado is really cool but also really terrifying. Great video!
The chase team seemed to agree!
It was pretty crazy to see in person!
Man, how can something so deadly be so beautiful? Nice footage guys.
I have heard that most of the sirens that are used to warn people of tornadoes in the central and southeastern United States were originally installed as air raid warning sirens during the Cold War.
interesting
nopeee there just tornado sirens, the guy in joplin talked about how they lost a custom 400lbs sirenn that still has never been found to this day. im sure some cities have used cold war sirens as warnings but its the same as tsuanmi warnings, its multipurpose.
In Oklahoma City, they predate the Cold War period. The sirens were the same kind used in WWII in London air raids.
The story I was told, was that many English fighter pilots were originally trained to fly in Oklahoma.
That is probably why sirens were installed so quickly after the war. The pilots saw the need for air raid warnings because of tornadoes.
They were absolutely terrifying when I was a 3 year old. By the time I was 4 I had learned to adjust.
Max, that second intercept in Iowa was legendary. I got the first tornado, but missed the second. Great work as always!
You still got some absolutely wild footage, can't wait to meet you out there!
Great video!!! I dig the both the story telling aspect and the documentary style video. I look forward to the next one.
First time viewer, really enjoyed how it was edited, just one thing, you said you traveled through 20 states. It would be great if you put on the screen where the viewed tornado was. Subscribed and can’t wait to see more. Hello from Southern California.
Same situation here the first time viewer liked it and now am subscribed and also can't wait for more
Wow.....great footage and courage. I felt obligated to watch the stream from my bunker :o)
Really cool Max, great video! Well done to you and the team.
Loving the great content you put up whenever you do. Keep up the good work
Incredible footage my friend! This is a ultimate life dream to be able to chase, video and photograph tornadoes. One day I'll be there. Keep chasing and sharing this awesome footage my friend!!!
Every one of your vids is a literal movie
It's hard to find content like this these days. Legend 💙
Good stuff guys!!! Thank you for all you do. Be safe out there!🤙
Thanks, Team Olson, for bringing us these great videos!!!
You guys really killed it with that second intercept in the rain of the Iowa tornado. I got pretty good video of the first one but between the low viz. and the traffic I missed the second one completely. I think most people did. Excellent job guys
Now that's classy storm chasing! Rock on guys. Your camera's are by far better quality than any other channel. You pick up the finer details of the tornado and winds. Great work!
What Magnificent content documenting those storms!
Another great video Max.
This has to be the best tornado video of 2022, incredible chasing skills staying on it through that environment!
Most excellent. Love you letting the storms speak for themselves and you captured their voices very well.
I could tell just by the intro that this was gonna be a great video, definitely be watching you more👍
You are awesome friend! Your photography is insane and also thank you for not screaming into your camera deafening us …
Well done!!! ✌🏼
Some of the best video of tornado activity I've seen so far.
Great footage, well-produced. Thank you for sharing this! :)
"Let's keep quiet," instead of a lot of screeching. Outstanding.
These types of videos really help our understanding of the inner working mechanisms of the tornado.
Thank you guys. Great footage and great editing. Most of us will never have the opportunity to go storm chasing. I live in southeast Pennsylvania...25 minutes from Philadelphia. We get snow storms that last for days and we also get violent thunderstorms that produce damaging wind...but NOTHING like this. It's almost magical...the footage you've captured. Thx again and be safe...
If you really want to, you will!
I have to take a 16hrs flight to eventually catch one 😜
can't wait for it 😍
Penn has actually had some pretty impressive tornadoes over the years including the Philly metro very recently. I agree you most likely won’t see beautiful LP supercell with perfect stovepipe but if you hunt long enough you can find something.
I really appreciate the feedback, maybe someday you can make it out here to witness these magical storms!
Give it 40 years and Pennsylvania will be getting much more tornadoes. Tornado alley is moving east
@@bumslightrail2382 Dixie Alley is pretty bad too
Great videography and minimal talk once you encounter tornadoes. Love your channel. Keep it classy!
Thank you for your amazing hard work. My son loves learning about these systems and your first hand accounts are amazing for his knowledge. God bless you! Stay safe out there. We will be staying tuned
I started becoming obsessed with tornadoes when I was 3 and went on my first chase when I was 9, I hope your son is able to continue learning and maybe go chasing some day!
You're the best I've seen. Keep it up and stay safe!
Holy hell this is some of the best footage I think i've ever seen. I hope you guys know i've been sending this to everyone i know cuz this is one of the coolest tornado videos i've ever seen. It really exemplifies the raw beauty and the raw power of nature at its absolute finest.
One little bit of criticism i do want to share. Im not sure if it was just your camera zooming in or not but you guys seemed to have gotten way way too close for comfort, especially in that last tornado. Like, it appeared like you guys were filming from inside the RFD and then decided to move closer. Like i appreciate the cool footage you guys got and were able to share with us but please please please be safe out there. Tornadoes are very pretty but incredibly dangerous and we dont need to have any more storm chaser casualties.
That being said, I really appreciate the work you guys do and will definitely subscribe and check out your other work.
Excellent storytelling and audio - two things often overlooked in videos. Great work!
Thank you guys for some nice close ups and your dedication
Fantastic. Incredible. Well done. Congrats!
Absolutely incredible footage. Deffo earned a sub👌
This is something I've never seen in my life. Respect to you guys 🙏
This was awesome, thank you
The best tornado footage I’ve ever seen
Great video, thank you 🙏 Stay safe 🍀
Sweet doc, doc!
Top tier editing and film quality
Absolutely incredible footage subscribed :) your footage reminds me of pecos hank another chaser but he doesn’t post nearly as much
6:56 definatly the most prettiest tornado ive seen. great shot!
I am a tornado nut and geek.. I respect what you do. Looking forward to chasing with my friend this summer.... blessings and continued success and safety
This was incredible. Great work you guys!
@Tarziu Armando-Liviu bro, I'm not religious
This is some of the best footage I've ever seen kudos to you your true Storm Chaser huh
WOW!!! Thank you!
AWESOME video!!😊👍🌪
Great work! Be careful out there.
Incredible! Really quality stuff, very mature and smart chasing. Those Iowa tornadoes were only about a town south of where my grandma lives!
I had to watch this twice. It’s just so good
This is all so very cool and so very interesting! U guys stay safe out there!
Absolute masterpiece
Hope you see your first tornado soon, Max!
There was one in the video....
@@GOOCHIElicker If you follow him on Twitter you'd get the reference haha
Great Video 👍
Great footage guys.........unlike some others you can feel the wind, sound, inflow.........you guys are close and don't run for the hills at first sign of movement your direction. well done.
Great footage man❤❤❤❤
I'm banned on twitter but i saw your tweet about joining ETT and had to come say congrats :)
Gonna have to come up for a tour :)
Great coverage btw
Great video guys...will recommend to many
Thank you very much!
You earned a sub from me you make good content and are calm and explain what's going on without screaming and yelling like some other storm chasers do
That was intense! Great chase!
Pretty cool. Good job guys.
Very well done video
I go to Benedictine College, and I know exactly where that video of the Missouri river was taken! haha Absolutely beautiful work! I was up there in Iowa chasing too!
I loved everything about this
😱 I would be struggling to breathe man.i"ve never saw a tornadoes before. The closest I ever came was being in Livingston Co. when the tornadoe hit Mayfield,Ky in December 2021.Thats only a few miles, but, close enough for me. It's actually an adrenaline rush, out of this world, that I would
love to see closer.
Very professional work guys. I live in central Arkansas and we have had some bad storms lately. Tornados. They are very scary to me. I live in an apartment and there's no place to go when the sirens go off. AND THEY DID!
It would be great if you told us exactly where you were when you were filming the tornados.
I think y'all are crazy to chase these killers but we all have our passions lol. This is surely yours and you do a great job. Stay safe!
Great job
Man this was so cool I wanna do this so bad I actually caught one on camera last year I was in between OKC n Tulsa and me and my children got slammed I’m going to upload it soon as I find my battery to my camera lol but great video for sure 👍
Amazing
Excellent footage, Max. Every time I see one of those beautiful things, my first thought is always, "I want to ... touch it." A quick question, though - do you think it might be worth it to put together a reference glossary for your chaser companions/tourists? I understand it's merely improper nomenclature but it's rather irksome to me when I hear people use incorrect terminology, e.g. "There's a vortice!", likely thinking that it's the singular of "vortices" and completely forgetting the word "vortex" already exists...
Thank you for your hard work in advancing the science, which will save lives in the future.
Now THAT"S impressive!
best chase i have ever watched
people like this need more subscribers
"Missed the house" is always so good to hear during chases.
I enjoyed the music and commentary
You guys are great! Way to predict using data ect.
Pretty successful chase, I’d say. Thanks for sharing.
subscribed, be safe !
Great footage and well edited. Appreciate the lack of yelling or even talking / radio noise so we can enjoy it to its fullest.
This is making me think of back in 2013 when Moore, OK got hit with either an EF4 or EF5 tornado
Around this time we had a huge blizzard across most of North Dakota, and it had a long tail that spanned over three states, and one point from here to New York. Wild stuff, was stuck in my house for about 3 days.
Some of the tornadoes remind me of the Dodge City May 24 2016 event.
What an incredible and photogenic event
Dude says "OMG" like a million times in these videos! OMG!
You guys are insane!!!! But great work! ha ha
Even though it’s not epic 4k perfect camera shots, I can actually understand the tornado and it’s not 1 second of it BLA BLA BLA then blasted country music so good job on this video!! Side note: 1:40 so like is there a invisible tornado that there just outside of or is this a mini category 2 hurricane?!
"im making an executive call.." lmao love it
" oooooh my gosh dude " haha y'all are some crazy guys.
impressive!
That beauty at 7:30 made me say for letter words of joy 🥲
7:38 Some damn goblin running away from the tornado, too. Can't blame em. That's a spooky looking tornado there. 🌪
This is fascinating and I think I found my new favorite chasers, great editing, no theatrics, just let’s nature be the show. Am curious, did anyone else notice 12:42, the glare from something makes it look like the top of the tornado has some weird blue light and flames :)
Reflection from inside the car most likely
thank you very much friends for showing this video was made, but always take care of your safety and health!👍🏿🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Appreciate more distant shots that show more of the length of the tornado.
Last shot was Danger Close, fortunately moving away.
Live just south of Sac City, IA about 20 minutes, and was on storm watch. It got pretty wild.
What if one forms ontop of you without you noticing..? Very impressive footage!!!
Good LORD, that second intercept on April 12th!!
lol at the start where the lamp gets turned on i have that same tc remote for my tv lol
