This is a promise that having knowledge of the saving power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is not enough to save you -- you must act on that knowledge and ask Jesus' forgiveness in repentance from sin to a new life in Christ Jesus.

One doesn't escape the pollutions/corruptions of the world without having a SAVING knowledge of Jesus Christ, one must act on the salvation message, like the ones Peter is talking about.

Sir salvation is by grace through faith. Doing is works. You are mixing justification and sanctification to = salvation but thats Romanism.

I want to be clear that what I am teaching is, as you say, salvation is by grace through faith; but it is our obedience to "the action" of following God's will for our lives that I am referring to in 2 Peter 2:20-22. Thanks for responding to this video as I hope it will now bring clarity to this teaching not only for you but others as well.
