It’s incredible how people still don’t know how OVR works, each individual stat has weight value that can go from zero to like .2 maximum, for example the weight of “shoe passing” when the player is a CAM is .16, so let’s take an imaginary player that has OVR of 80 and 80 short passing, if you only raise his short passing to 87, his OVR would only go to 81 because (7*0.16)=1.12 (this is the amount that increases the overall), but crossing has 0 weight as a CAM so if the player has 50 crossing and you raise it to 99 the OVR will remain the same because that stat has no weight for CAM players That’s why OVR is a nice quick indicator of how good a player is but sometimes you need to look at individual stats to really see what players suit your playstyle better
