The oxi clean gel stain stick is my best friend when it comes to thrifting. It has never let me down when getting stains out of thrifted pieces! I just put it on and let it set overnight before throwing it in the wash. My favorite piece you found was that silk patterned button up, so fun!
Go back to that store n check if the long blazer still there. That's a classic that never goes out of style. Gorgeous n look like it's made of a good material.
I love that vintage bag you found at the beginning! I would probably sew up a quick drawstring bag out of undyed cotton (or a fun color) and keep it inside

I have two more suggestions for De-Stinkimg your green sweater. Turn Inside out. Douse the whole thing, especially the underarms and down the side seams, in mouthwash. Antibacterial. Then wash again and hang in dirrct sunlight.

They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and trollies. But it was worth it as many where Brand new with Tags

Also do the vinegar baking soda soak.

I think the problem with the thigh high socks is the skirt shape! I like them better with a more pronounced a-line, I think that's why you like them paired with the coat. Last week I bought a jumper and a scarf that probably spent the last 40 to 50 years covered in mothballs, and until I brought them home I had no idea they smelled so bad too 😂 I blame being outside (I got them at a flea market) and the *mask*! I washed them and then kept them outside for a good day, the cold air worked great
I once thrifted a really old vintage leather bag, when I smelled it in the house I thought I'd throw up. I couldn't have thrown it into a washing machine, so I tried to wash the inside layer by hand, then I kept it for 2 days at the balcony but it didn't help. I had to throw it away.

Well when I got home, I realized the purse had a horrible disgusting smell!! I mean the purse smelled real bad. No matter what I did, the smell would not come out.

You need a chunky platform 2001 Steve madden loafers to wear with the over the knee tights. You were right that heel height would help.
The black jeans with the HM square neckline neutral color top and the green skirt, leopard print belt and creamy top combination were my favourites!
After you launder the sweater hang it outdoors for some hours to get rid of the odor
