- Just after midnight on November 4, 2022, a concerned citizen called 911 regarding a Chevrolet Traverse stopped in the westbound lanes facing east. When Officers Morea, Mangel, and Garito arrived, they boxed the vehicle in for public safety and then approached the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. This is footage of that event.

That is the affect of alcohol. It usually goes: Happy and jolly then angry, then upset and crying. I imagine police see these effects all the time.
Here in the UK, the Police have a saying: "If alcohol was invented tomorrow, we would ban it the next day". Wishful thinking on their part.

This is a puzzlement. She's mother to multiple children. Well dressed. Speaks proper English (when not cursing). Drives a nice car. Based on her behavior and the charges, this is the first time she's been in a situation like this. My guess is, that for some reason, she's becoming a 'practicing' alcoholic, as opposed to a potential alcoholic. FWIW, I believe most of the police officers who spoke to her are parents--and good ones, based on their words, actions, and demeanor.

You are 100% correct. I think humiliation is an undervalued tool in our society when it comes to behavioral correction. Perhaps I am biased because I was brought up in the classical ballet world where humiliation is the first tool that is reached for… However, it is definitely an effective one, and I think in situations like this, it is perfectly acceptable to be used.
