And here I am today a licensed Civil Engineer practicing my SketchUp skill with a random tutorials. It feels like SketchUp has been around forever. Probably during this time SketchUp was just a newly launch software. I realize I have so many things to catch up with.
@ditoarch06 that means that the plugin has expired. Soap skin has a time limit that requires you to remove the plugin, re-download it, and then re-install it. According to the site, the current release of SSB is set to expire on Apr 10, 2012.
@igorsoares13 you would probably want to model that canopy in 4 pieces. draw the structure for 1/4 of the tent with the pencil tool and arc tool, and then use the rotate tool to copy that section around to get the other 3/4 of it.
@abdboji it sounds like you got right up to the point where you need to press 'enter' for the second time, to turn the flat plane into a bubble. Hopefully that works, if not lemme know.
@TheMango85 the SketchUp Website > Downloads Section; Ruby Library Depot; Smustard; SketchUcation Forums; as well as a number of sites that have been created by individual Ruby Script programmers. Try doing a google search for SketchUp Ruby Script and see what pops up. : )
Good grief!! Not flying through Denver anymore. Does SketchUp ski? What does the program know about snow loads? Didn't they try an inflatable roof over the Vancouver stadium once? Where is it, now?

Where can I find this skin plugin? I've downloaded some from sketchucation but it does not work this way, Connect just faces with straight lines not even too good, does not create mesh....and no icon show up.
i need help, everytime i hit the "skin", "X/Y", "Bub", or "Play" button in the plugins.. the window always shows up, it says "Timelimit finished" so i cannot make the membrane. how can i fix this? \m/_
