Miriam Steele is the Alfred J. and Monette C. Marrow Professor of Psychology at The New School for Social Research, and Co-Director of the Center For Attachment Research. Her work aims to bridge the world of psychoanalytic thinking and clinical practice with contemporary research in child development.

How does a person receive services from a psychoanalyst that uses the attachment interview?
If they are psychodynamically informed this is taken into account implicitly through the establishment of the therapeutic realtionship.
Even if it was administered explicitly that still may not equate to how to help a person with the issue that brought them into treatment to begin with.
It's a part of basically any psychotherapy to help you explore and work on your current problems that may be rooted in your childhood and the attachment style of your caregivers.
From what I know, there's a training organized and a certificate issued to those who are trained in coding the AAI. So, you'll have to ask each one upon booking, whether they have been trained in this, I suppose.
