This year I shot 2 weddings, 2 cameras, 2 lenses (efs 24mm pancake and 50mm).. very happy .. now i sold them and bought sigma, but not rf-s, the ef 17-50.. so far so good quality, autofocus not as accurate as canon native glass.. i will try it next events.. enjoy ! Very nice review!
Thanks Cam. Been wondering about this lens. Do you have the Canon RF-S 18-150 kit lens? If so how does image quality compare to it (taking into account the Sigma gives you 2.8 through the whole range)?
@CAMphotography_ I'm talking focal length your facial structure wil look the same if you take a headshot whit 50mm apsc and ff 50mm The crop factor is only the frame size
Thanks, I'll be picking up this lens soon.

@@miguelmonforte all the best to you! Thanks!
Wow on my Sony a6700 it is not soft and the AF is always spot on. I did need to do a firmware update on the lens so maybe there is one for Canon.

Hey thanks for watching. I unfortunate do not own the 18-150 kit lens. I would assume it would be decent quality. Not the best but gets the job done
There is no 30mm equivalent 50mm and 50mm equivalent 80mm focal length 18 is 18 and 50mm is 50mm focal length on apsc and full frame..
@@78primdahl do some research on the 1.6x crop factor for canon. Then do math. Then come back to this comment and acknowledge you’re wrong

@@78primdahlyou're being serious aren't you....! That's incredible 😂 Thank you for making my day!
lol he’s right, a photographer and videographer would know this as fundamental.
