I appreciate the video. Would be nice to see you actually stitching with it. Only tried a lap stand once probably 30 years ago and didn’t like it. Uncomfortable under my legs. But this stand looks promising. I like floor stands but getting the right one is a chore. Just gave another one to Goodwill.

I am so excited about this stand. Beautiful...My question is how do you flip it to end and start threads? I looked at website and I see an accessory "swivel" is that what I would have to buy extra maybe? Thanks for sharing.

I’m going to order the swivel piece too. There is up down flexibility with the lop lever but certainly the swivel will be a really nice accessory for additional movement to see the back.

Yes, you're quite right about the swivel clamp as an extra to add to The Oak as well as to the stands "The Sequoia" and "The Pine". The swivel clamp allows you to rotate the hoop 360 degrees. We will have them in stock by the end of June.

These stands are similar to Dubko stands from Russia.

Will this hold a Millennium or Omanik frame?

I do wool applique and embellishment and don't use a hoop. I would like to use a stand to hold my piece, maybe just clamped top and bottom. I don't want to stretch the block. Is there anything out there that would accommodate this idea?

I’m so used to using a hoop.. I’m just not sure what you would mount your piece on for the stand to hold.. do you use q-snaps? Or stretcher bars? I’ll keep you in mind..
