I was at this tournament and I got out (you can check smash gg to confirm this) and they were set to play on stream after larry and mkleo if I remember correctly. While the were waiting they got chick fil a together and had a great time talking while waiting for food. So they're def good friends
@@dca564 Not saying you are wrong, but in other cases like Evo, the atmosphere gets a lot more tense since everyone is more keen on winning. While they might show good sportsmanship off camera and be friends, I don't want to disregard that some tournaments are taken more seriously than others.
And if you have ever competed in anything, you know what its like to prepare for one event for weeks in comparison to one event that people attend weekly (that doesn't have the same coverage, status, etc)
The commentators on every sheik video just talk about how bad sheik is

Still seems like an unfair matchup, Void does 6 hit combos that are not true and deal 23% damage while Cosmos does 3 hit combos that are true and deal 25% damage.
It's not the match up it's the character
When we go with your logic ganondorf wins the matchup against shiek cause he deals around 20% with one move
inkling is fast but sheik can still dance around her. you saw it here. sheiks neutral game is easily one of the best in the game

Inkling is trash
Inkling has better damage output, but Sheik is given so many opportunities with her neutral game she can easily match it. Raw damage output means absolutely nothing if you can't hit your moves consistently. I could say "imagine the percents if he was playing Ganondorf", he has much more damage output than either Inkling or Sheik. Is he better than them? Hell no. Sheik doesn't have a lot of damage, but she has consistent damage, which is just as powerful on a character with a great neutral and amazing framedata.
Void is so much better with Sheik now it’s crazy. I can’t wait to see his Sheik again in tournament :D

I think people that say sheik is bad are bad at playing sheik. I hate the "she did all that" shit I hear commentators say constantly. If you're practiced with sheik a lot of combos with her are easy af and she's so fast she can frame trap easily. If you think she struggles to kill then you struggle to kill with sheik.

Funny how these shitty commentators shit on Sheik's damage output even though Void was keeping it neck and neck and even took the first stop. Commentators always find the need to talk about her damage output, and then only talk about that.
Void makes Sheik look like a definite high tier.
Because she is high tier, nobody but sheik mains have the patience and skill to execute her high damage combos and use her edge guarding abilities effectively. Her 4% fair doesn't change the fact that she CAN do 50% combos.
Matthew Morrison thank youuuuuuu no one gets that just bc fair does 4% doesn't mean it's a bad move. it combos into itself and you can carry fools across the stage. it's not hard work when it's a true combo from muscle memory. people are just ignorant. she has a high skill ceiling, she's high mid tier at least

Lol what? She technically has an 0-death but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Sheiks damage potential is actually so little for so little reward. Her most standard damaging combos are around 20% below 50% and above 50% around 40% before 100 on heavies, and requires setup and near perfect execution. This is why shiek is bad. Meanwhile, I can pick about any other charecter and get a better value.

Sheik is Garbo. Void could’ve played better but the character is still bad
How much better do you think he could have played honestly. Void is literally on the cutting edge of what this character can accomplish
Honestly he’s leagues above my sheik but even at my level I can understand how bad sheik is. She’s to weak, plenty of speed and combos but when it comes to deal the final blow it’s a struggle.

I believe characters with bad kill power at least needs a strong aerial that kills around 120%-130% percent to make their late percent game not so bad.
