- In this episode my good friend Emmanuel Williams takes me miles into the ocean off of Miami to fish in 1000+ feet of water- on a SEA-DOO of course! He started SEA-DOO fishing while he was in high school and those years on the water definitely paid off! We did a little bit of everything; from deep dropping and trolling to jigging. Our unique catch was one of the best tasting fish I have ever had and thankfully there was enough to share with family and friends.

Very interesting. I've never watched anyone do deep dropping.
Once I got over freaking out because I was that far out in the big water, that could be interesting! Nearly zero salt water experience. Over half my fishing has been done in "cricks" you can step across. Never ceases to amaze people when you take them out to a cow pasture to fish, and they pull a nice fat brown out of a tiny hole. Seen up to 10 lbs outta our local creek, none of the others tend to get all that much size.

The stability of the fish pro looks pretty good as you guys are sitting there, it looks like you can relax without too much bobbing up and down and around.

Awesome video! So jealous y'all can deep drop at 8.5 miles. Up here in NC its more like 80 miles in most places lol. That's really interesting about keeping the fish on ice for two days, kinda like hanging a deer or aging beef or something?

Love your vids! Great variety of fishing. Be careful to eat those tilefish sparingly because of the very high mercury content. Difficult not to because they're such a good eating fish.
That's crazy deep for 8 miles out. We'll go about 15 miles out and still be around 100ft here off of PCB. Nice fish!

I like to ice fish at least overnight before I fillet them. Chilling them down gives you a much cleaner fillet
What kind of structure or sign are you looking for when targeting tiles? I know muddy bottoms from the vid. But are you looking for anything else in the finder?

That was so cool. How far off of Jupiter would you have to go to get deep enough to catch those?
Shoot I have never tried but I would imagine somewhere between 10-20 miles. The deepest I have tried is 500 on the sea doo.
Been dying to see how you connected the deep drop rod on holder, now bracket on hand rail is ingenious thought you had a Linux floor rod mount. I worry about the washdown plug pulling out which did to some guy and almost sunk.
Weird how certain fish and other creatures can taste the same. I get a bunch of Gooseneck barnicles , and they taste almost exactly like crab. Great video here.

im gonna subscribe, but you must understand, most everywhere in the world Caribbean know how to fish better than anyone. Fish is free and in poor places guess what they eat. Trust more, buddy said "buttery" perfect description, just dont overcook the damn thing
