- Roblox Decaying Winter is a Roblox hardcore survival game. 5 players must cooperate to survives 10 nights, fending off increasingly difficult waves of enemies to complete the game.
Players must scavenge for weapons, ammunitions, and items that spawn randomly on the map. It is possible to solo, but a team of up to 5 people is recommended. Good items are very rare, and players must exercise caution when going outside. There are many powerful and dangerous enemies such as the Hidden, Sickler, Skinner, Hanger, AK scavs, snipers, Sledge Queen, etc. that can kill you in a few seconds. Even if you do survive, healing items are rare and you will mostly stay crippled.
There are currently 20 classes with special perks that players can unlock to help them survive. They are all pretty unique and cool, for example, Drifters can become cloaked and deal extra melee damage; Apostles can summon shadow clones; Berserkers can life steal and deal bonus damage with melee weapons; Arbiters can shoot cannon shells to stun enemies and rocket jump, etc. I personally main Zealot (turret tower defense class) and Executioner (big damage melee class). Classes can be swapped anytime you are on the main menu. You can also pick 3 traits and 1 equipment that will also give you an advantage in surviving.
Attack waves come at the end of every night. Players respawn before and after the attack wave. When a player dies, they lose all of their equipment and status effects but give their team a morale debuff. If all the players die, the game will reset back to night 1. At wave 10, a boss will spawn (Yosef), and after killing him, you will be brought back to the menu and start over.
However, there is another way to finish the game called the true ending. To unlock the true ending, players need to collect a sword on top of the mountain, find a keycard in a cave, send a distress signal and take gas masks from a secret lab. After completing these tasks and surviving night 10, players will evacuate to a ship and survive until it launches.
There’s currently a new mode called the Last Stranded, which is basically an endless wave mode, where the gameplay is more focused on FPS shooting than melee. We had a lot of fun using the different class combos, killing the Sledge Queen, surviving to night 10, unlocking the true ending and dying miserably. We did not use any script throughout our gameplay, and the game was fun even though it was hard.
Anyways, Decaying Winter was a blast. Apparently, there’s lore for the game that you can find on the wiki and the music/ost were pretty good. Like always, this Roblox video is filled with a crapload of jokes and memes in the form of funny moments/funny montages. Survival and Wave Based shooter with heavy emphasis on individual as well as team performance and not failing.

You are not expected to win or even perform well every run.
What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

I don’t know if was intentionally done, but the cinematic ending reminds me of the badass in the lore that took a 40mm artillery shell directly, lost his arm, and still continued massacring the endless horde. He surcame to his injuries but only after hundreds of threats were dead.

Decaying winter is a game about a group of 5, possibly 6 if the pilot wasn't dead, getting mauled by members of the subspecies of chilly's kind and/or fighting different groups of people for resources and survival. An overall good game, it's pretty neat

@@zrhunt Kind of is, but it's very fast paced. Each scavenging round, or "day", only lasts a few minutes at most, requiring everyone to work as a team and collect as many resources as they can. Then, they return home and must fight off waves of enemies, no running or hiding here.

@@zrhunt I actually find the time to be just right for the game as-is, though that is personal preference. You won't be able to explore everywhere and grab everything unless you're well-coordinated (and maybe have a high dogtag vagabond), but even if you end up dying quickly it's only about a minute or two to respawn. It really makes you feel like every minute, every single moment counts, and with resources as limited as is, they do.

Why i said gamepass cuz u know there is combat warriors which has gore too but it has some robux things and it profits for roblox more. In the other hand there is decaying winter only requires players skill to play nothing else and it profits so low for roblox. So they remove it with no casualty.

It's been 1 minute without Decaying Winter. From the sight of servers being down, I got enraged and started killing scavs outside. He wasnt even 2 days into this world, but I needed MREs. I needed Odens so badly so I robbed this npc called "7-11 Worker". People have me weird looks because I was going to kill them too. I made out of there with a Hunting axe, 14 Oden, and this wheat item called a "Cookie". It's regenerating my Health, and my energy for battle. I found some random building called "School". Where I saw another npc named "Gym Coach". He had a stim in his hand that he called a "inhaler". So I ripped it out of his hands and stuck it in my arm has hard as i could. The children came over, not knowing they were about to get killed for rations. Suddenly a man in a blue outfit shot me with a Peacemaker. I Blocked it to the best of my ability, but was guard broken. I woke up in the spectator box above the map. They asked me "How did you get killed?" and I replied with, "Heh.. you're just a baka... you wouldnt understand."

You see, a large reason of why I love this video is because (not to be rude, but) it showcases that monkeys could beat this game if they really tried hard enough. It's one of the reasons I actually worked up to the true ending and eventually got it. Thank you TankFish.

Alot and i mean alot of scav sneking behind you
I would highly recommend this to experienced players that are finding a challenge. Most of the agents are high risk and high reward type of deal and most agents are good in the first few rounds, others better in the long run, and others put in the middle. Trait comps are also very helpful to all agent perks or some specific ones so I recommend picking out what's best for your agent. Also, with equipment, highly recommend that you pick out the right ones for your agent (obviously) such as ballistics dagger for Sovereign and MindFlayer. Although the most versatile equipment is throwing knives. TO NEW PLAYERS DO NOT FORGET TO PRESS C WHEN YOU'RE STUCK INSIDE THE STORM, auxiliary mask is your first and already equipped equipment so please don't forget.
Actually even for vagabond theres a lot of different builds, i have a friend who plays vagabond very well with his stuff but he starts to be useful only at night 3+ and i know another player who also plays vagabond and i really good with it with his own vagabond build but he only does his work well until wave 5/6 then he becomes a walking morale machine.
Also.
Fearless is a must have.

My favorite thing of this video has to be the Storm section (5:06 to 5:16). The slowly increasing volume of "that part" in Bury The Light as TankFish fails to reach the safe zone in time due to all the Morale debuff just makes it oddly funny. (Also, the slight "FU-" before he gets decimated by the storm)

The way he managed to make that ending is insane after the gameplay was just them telling jokes and stuff
I like when tank pull's out a mini gun and the team fortress 2 theme start's playing.
As tank fish struggled to breathe, He sat alongside a dead enemy "Guess we... Lost after all" as he's artery bleed got worse he soon coughed, Took his last breath, and died. A few hours later Rescue Team Alpha saw a dying Operator.
"It... Wasn't worth it..." Said the dying operator
"Sir, we found a functioning Suit Camera"
As they played the recording they watched in horror as the team sent there was killed in painful deaths.
"Whoever sent us here... Fuck you" Said tank fish in his dying breaths.
The rescue team stood in silence as they realized what had transpired here.
"Command, We found the keycard. The team we sent... Didn't make it"
"Copy that Squad leader. We have completed our mission return to base"

Very lovely code (338108) this time. A nice wholesome story. Mostly more on the vanilla side, which most people would agree is good. The art is nice, although more rough in some panels, but still good. The story has good pacing, and has a good start and end. Very nice code. 8/10

One of the things this game needs is a help tab that actually tells players what items they've found before do. So you find a syringe, and then you can, after you inevitably die, check the help tab to see what it actually does, because there's too many items that have effects you just don't know because the game refuses to tell you because it wants to be 'hard'. It is hard, but it's also plainly annoying.
Oh, also, Ritual Dagger and Ballistic Knife combo with shove speed and stamina as high as you can get is hopefully still legendary against melee enemies.
eh the combo isnt that strong anymore, the damage still stacks but about every scav in the game had its health buffed and they changed some melee fighting mechanics for melee scavs, it isnt only spamming light attacks and an occasional heavy attack, but also shoves and parrys

Most of the stims in the game are easy enough to figure out.
Hemostatic Zanustin: Applies painkiller effect and fixes leg fractures (not arm fractures)
S44-UL1: Increases running speed, reload speed, and melee speed
3-CBSTM: Increases melee damage
Cocktail "Peristenesene": Full heals and fixes bleeds (not arterial bleeds)
BL1 "Neloprephine": Removes one morale stack and applies a focus buff (more often used to just remove a morale stack)
I4S-DS: Applies a health regen buff
Immobilising Splint: Fixes fractures and applies a buff that prevents being fractured for a while
Aseptic Bandage: fixes non-arterial bleeds and applies a buff that prevents any bleeds for a while. Good to use if you have an artery bleed and are in a pinch, since it removes one of the two bleeds.
As for the debuffs you can find:
Exhaust: Gained after sprinting in a straight line for too long. Lowers your speed significantly and goes away after not sprinting for around 30 seconds.
Leg Fracture: Removes your sprint ability and lowers your speed
Arm Fracture: Removes the ability to aim guns (I don't know if it makes it harder to control guns as well, but this one's brutal on gun builds)
Poisoned: This one is mainly found on the punji stick traps, but the cultists use poisoned daggers. Turns your screen green and causes you to throw up at the end of it, which removes your ability to do anything for a short duration
Snared: Can only be given by walking into a snare trap, lowers your speed and removes the ability to turn your camera or interact with the environment for a short duration
Infection: Stage 1 and 2 do nothing (as far as I'm aware), Stage 3 lowers your max HP by 10, Stage 4 lowers your max HP by 40, and Stage 5 kills you.

DW is in the same category as Noita, where the game relentlessly beats you down like an abusive lover, and you keep falling for their lies and coming back for more. Overall a solid 8.5/10, some of the most fun I've had gaming.

Fun fact artery is a separate DoT effect from bleed that deals the same damage as bleed though sense it also inflicts bleed it looks like it does more damage though the illusion breaks when you aseptic bandages and sense it makes you unable to get bleed it other rides the artery to inflict bleed thus reducing the damage you take making it so you have more time to live and find a tourniquet
The ending is so emotional that actually makes everything looks like a story and made me feel sad after they die one by one so close to the salvation,also the music at the end makes everything more emotional,trully masterpeace

The ending that was animated at the end is NOT the actual end of decaying winter and has nothing to do with it Tank made this animation himself but in the actual game (spoilers)
When the calculation is done you just get the ending cast and that's it back to the title screen

bruh, some of these comments are just making my brain rot, its not tanks fault that the game was taken down, no one could have guessed that this video would be the factor of decaying winter getting found by the Roblox moderation, nor is it the devs fault. they knew sooner or later roblox would find it one way or another. either way, its on review so it doesn't mean that roblox fully took it down, there is still a possibility that it could stay.

Tip: rations are way more important than you think. They give you damage/speed buffs and are generally easy to get. Only use them before wave starts

That is probably Decaying winter did have those things, gore (mainly decapitations and dismemberments), use of Stimulants and drugs plus Koldera black which was a cigarette, ability to suicide (with 0) and Dan Janiel .8 which counted as alcohol.
for those new to decaying winter, there are several types of enemies that you need to watch out:
Melee scav(ice pick/dream scav/specialist knife scav/lead pipe) They deal INSANE damage and CAN give you lots of debuffs including artery(BTW artery is from 2 bleeds inflicted in short time frame) and sledgehammer scav, which for some reason is even worse than skinner.
Sniper scav(those with lasers) Shotgun scavs(2 shot u in close range) and AK scavs(free artery)
then there's the sledge queen and her gang of mcx m249 and fire axe raiders, but you will be fine as long as you stay away from castle(7:24)
There are also the Shadows, who attack everything that exists except for other shadows.
Hanger: Most ez. Forces you to kill yourself if you don't spam e fast enough. Has a knife that deals 10 damage upon contact. Easy to kill, since it has second lowest hp out of all scavs. 'ONLY SPAWNS IN MOUNTAIN.
Skinner: Can hide as a regular melee scav, has about 250 hp. When it gets close to u it transforms into skinner with full hp regardless of damage previously dealt to it.Can grapple, stun and do heavy hits, cannot be shoved. Dangerous but can be fought if you have a good gun, are proficient at close quarters combat or has a good melee.
Hidden: #1 noob killer. Fully invisible except when attacking, makes sounds around you before one shot ALL classes except for zealot, base turrets CANNOT kill it. Use z to mark its location if you suspect it's close. Does not attack directly, if you know it's there you will be fine.(4:00) Note: hivemind can kill it.
Sickler: Does not do anything but cry and walk around. However, DO NOT LET ANYTHING SUCH AS PLAYERS AND SCAVS DAMAGE IT, when damaged it cries for 5 seconds and goes berserk. It has 750 HP, which makes it a boss level enemy, does extremely high damage(2 or 3 shot u unless you have debuffes it with Apostle), heals to full hp when killing an enemy or player, gains a speed boost on kills like vagabond to the point it flies off walls, and worse, base turrets may not be able to handle it, when someone alr lead a scav to base turrets(turrets deal 800 damage before shutting down, sickler has 750 hp so 1 scav in and base turrets are useless) If it's in its rage state try to lead it to castle, since sledge queen and her gang can kill the sickler for you. Either that or use riskrunner(75 percent charge or above), class with ksg or machine gun to kill it, if it's berserk run to high ground fast and hope it doesn't jump
I dont even remember how I killed the sickler but I did, I think me and my friends used tick mines to blow it off the face of the earth.

Tip: arbiter have a special attack where after you press f, press f again 0.8 second and you will get a long shot. Consider a long shot as an impact gernade
