I can't explain everything but the apps I use are Ibis paint and Alight Motion. Ibis paint is used for getting each character's body parts mainly the eyes, arms, and hair. Then we redraw the missing parts after the cutout is finished. Then we transfer all of that to Alight Motion and assemble all the body parts back and start animating them by the use of graphs.
