Cottage has two meanings when it comes to houses guys. One is an architectural design style. The other is the colloquial term for a small house. Look to Mackinac Island for a great example of the former. Huge homes, built in the cottage design style.
Some may feel jealousy when seeing your amazing home, but not me, because it's simple; if you work hard by putting in what it takes to get there, then you will achieve amazing results! I see nothing but hard, core labour of love. Please make sure you instil in your children that privilege should never be taken for granted and that they must also work hard to achieve the same goals of their own. Remind them that it took a lot of sacrifices and tough decisions to get to this point in life. May you all be blessed and safe in your new, beautiful and well deserved home. My life is nothing like yours. I have no money, no job and live in temporary accommodation. I don't think i will ever have a nice home at this point in my life, but i am healthy and happy and have my dreams.
Thank you for giving such a normal tour....where you didn't talk and explain every little thing....sometimes that's nice but I really enjoyed this and it made sense....you didn't hop all over the place making it confusing. It was great!! I wish I could provide a home like this but on a much smaller scale for my family. One day perhaps....

The interior is very pretty but the exterior is the definition of a McMansion even with all the good work you guys put in. The roof is overwhelming to the rest of the house.
I jumped on to mention the trouble with the “cottage” terminology too. I mean, I know “cottagecore” is a style, so maybe modern cottagecore mansion? (Mini mansion if plain old mansion is an overstatement)
Beautiful taste, really beautiful! But a lot of beds, chairs, sofas and bathrooms - if it was my house I would equip it with a gym room, a craft room, a cinema room, a music studio, and so much more, because I could not keep my feet still.... I have the feeling in this house there is a lot of sitting, sleeping and lounging happening - you must be very relaxed people 😂😇 the style is beyond amazing. Truly inspiring for my living room.
Hahaha, relaxed people do not completely renovate a massive home inside and out in only two years and then move out of it! I can't believe that they could accomplish so much in that time and then just leave. Amazing and beautiful house. I guess that is how you keep your followers though. Absolutely love this home. I just don't get the two sinks in a corner together when there's an abundance of space in the kids bathroom. I can see them fighting before school as they bump into one another
Love!! I notice there's no dressers in the bedrooms, I assume the girls have shelves or places for socks and things in their closet. Such a lovely home and family too.
