@@nathanmills9298 it definitely will alter their offense a bit, but they do have great depth and the main focus was always going to be the passing game so they should be fine. So while it’s definitely a big loss, Baxter’s injury doesn’t change that I think they’ll go 11-1.

Texas may lose 3 this season… in a fan so my heart says 12-0 but one game I believe they win forrsure is Georgia. Sark will have them ready like the first game against Bama imo. If you’re a gambler that’s the one you should consider picking Texas

All respect was lost when you claimed texas defense over A&M...that is just a flat bad take when you compare the returning production and impact players on each defense. I agree texas has an offensive edge compared to the A&M offense. If you think they will still be "learning the new system" by week 14 of the regular season, you must think Elko is the equivalent of a high school coach lol
texas is starring down the barrel of 9-3/8-4 with their schedule. You fall into the trap of someone who doesn't respect the SEC grind. Look at LSU, Ole Miss, and others when they have good but not great teams...consistently in the 8-4/9-3 range. texas doesn't have near the team they had last year and will not have a talent edge in 11 or their 12 games like they did in the big 12.

Texas sophomore RB CJ Baxter injured the LCL and PCL in his right knee and will require surgery. He will miss the 2024 season after suffering the injury in camp on Tuesday.
