I honestly believe that most people who make this kind of content are terrible parents (I'm talking about the ones with small kids). This mentality of "I'm an adult, so I can do what I want" ends when you have a family and need to take care of your children.

I've never been made fun off growing up as a poor kid (not turbo poor kid). Both my parents were working to raise me and my 2 bigger sisters. My class I was in were mostly medium to rich and some medium to poor kids. I always been proud of my parents for working hard even tho they didn't had much time to spend with us, but I will rather prefer that then my mom doing prost*t... on the internet. Having the luck and privilege to travel to other countries myself I have seen this type of activity all too often. I have two nephews and a niece, and their mother (my sister) I recently found out does only fans with her husband. At first, I was not feeling it, but she uses pretty much all the money she makes from it to buy things like food, diapers, etc for the kids. Her husband isn't exactly the best at holding down a job, and they both have day jobs and still don't make a lot so it's kind of a sticky situation.
I feel it's good she's using the money to care for the kids and I know she has the best intentions in mind (especially with inflation being how it is right now), but I do have my worries about how my nephews and niece's futures might be affected by it in the long run.

Some people come out of the other side of that experience hardened; some learn valuable lessons; some emerge traumatized or scarred; and some don't make it out at all... It's kind of fucked up, but there's so much that would have to change before the idea of it being normal could be dislodged that practically speaking, it's more effective to mitigate the damage than it is to fight to avoid the damage in the first place...
Bullying is a common practice in ALL countries, not just America. The only thing that's changed in the states is that students get punished for defending themselves.
