@@DawnMarieX A round meaning a bullet comes from back when bullets were round balls of lead and you had to pour the powder down the barrel then ram the bullet down :)

As far as I understand, a bullet is just the upper part of a round.
For us ignorant people who have no knowledge of weapons, and use the wrong terminology for weaponry, a round is a bullet.
So "7 rounds" to me means I can shoot 7 times.
The mute girl's death was significant in how it was done. From IMDB: "When John Wick kills Ares (the mute girl), he stabs her in the same place he stabbed Cassian (the guy on the subway); the only difference is that he removes the knife. This shows that he refused to give her the same "professional courtesy" he gave Cassian."

The 'Pidegon Guy' is actor Lawrence Fishburne, who has won Oscar and Emmy awards. He was married to Gina Torres, who played our beloved Zoe on Firefly. John Wick 2 and Firefly are related.
I think the genius of the "John Wick" movies is the fact that they are made in a way that even we women love to watch them.
3 is the continuation of the story, and you will love the doggies in this one! JW4 is out in March 2023 and there is a trailer on YT

I like how them actually make John out as the mythical Baba Yaga. He comes out of the shadows and only let's you seem when he wants you to. When he shot the big goon at the beginning, the yelling made it out to be a monster growling and walking up the stairs. The mob boss hears the yelling and thinks if it's his men or monster. Awesome story telling.

The sommelier is a great little scene. That’s the bossy roommate from Sean of the Dead.
A marker represents a binding favor owed. For instance, if you let John borrow a pencil ✏️, he'd have to repay a favor of your choosing 😉

John Wick's Top back tattoo says "Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat: it is latin for Fortune Favors the Brave or the Bold ".
Fortus Fortuna Adiuvat...Latin essentially translates to "Fortune Favors the Bold" or "Fortune will come to save the Strong." The second is closer to what John's tattoo means. If the third word was "iuvat," it would be the first translation but Adiuvat translates "to come and save" or "to come and aid."
I was internally thinking 'world building,' but 'insidey parts' is lovely and appropriate.
The mute lady was Antonio's second in command or his chief body guard. Antonio also wanted to take over all of New York city so he would have the Continental surrounded by his 'property' thus his threat to Winston.
I like the Charon the Continental congierge, always a professional xD

Sadly, the actor who played the concierge passed away recently. Lance Reddick died of ischemic heart disease at the age of 60 on March 17, 2023.
Most versions of the original Colt 1911 automatic pistol has a magazine that holds seven rounds of .45 caliber ammunition. You can fire seven times, then you have to change magazines. John kills, then takes ammunition or replacement weapons off his kill. I like this series because of the reality of combat. John knows he has to reload...he doesn't have infinite ammunition in his weapon as most shooters do in action movies. Plus he usually doesn't make initial head shots...too easy to miss. You do two to center body mass to drop your opponent but you also always finish with a head shot to make sure the opponent is dead. A wounded man, even a man with a mortal wound, can still kill you...a corpse can't. John doesn't leave wounded behind to shoot him in the back.
I'm loving your reaction to this movie. BTW . . . 7 rounds means 7 bullets. He was able to keep shooting because he kept picking guns up from his victims. :-)

The mute woman is the bodyguard of the main bad guy, the way the black gentleman was the bodyguard of the sister.

This is totally stupid as I love Keanu and the John Wick series. But, the truth is your excitement is more fun than the actual movie. GREAT REACTION (as always) 😆
3 is already out and has the most amazing stunt/dog action choreography I've ever seen.
The car John has is a ~68 Mustang. Those cars are made of 100% steel bodies, as they did cars of steel back then. Caveat was a steel car was made to survive a crash (and ensuring that we didn't lol) whereas cars since the ~90s are made of carbon fiber which are made to crumble in a crash but protect you on the inside. That's why his car isn't as bad as the cars he's ramming with his mustang. They're made of carbon fiber, his is made of steel.
Mostly correct except his car is a '69 Mustang.

3 is available now, and 4 is scheduled to come out March 24, 2023. The ending of 3 make me very interested in seeing where the story would go in 4, but trailer has gotten me even more eager to see it.

This bad ass at the start of John Wick 2, only plays bad guys, he was brilliant playing T-bag in Prison Break too.
The marker Winston gave John at the end was the one Winston had insisted Santino put his fingerprint on to indicate John had paid off the debt. He's giving it to John here so John has proof that he fulfilled his obligation before killing Santino.
Just watched both reactions, glad you enjoyed them so much! I agree the second is better but the third I think tops it too. The 4th is out early next year and I expect it to be better again.
The tattoo across his back that reads "Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat", translated from Latin into, "fortune favors the bold", is reminiscent of the motto for the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines.
Or more simply the British SAS motto "who dares wins" have a good Christmas and a great new year ✌️

The wonderful Ian mcShane who plays Winston has been playing badasses for 60 years. His best known role was as 'Lovejoy' the loveable rogue antiques dealer.
I first saw him on the TV series Kings (2009). He made quite an impression!

The part in the gallery where he flipped the gun And you said you don't know what that is but it looked cool, Is that John was doing what is called a press check. Kimber firearms are built with very tight tolerances and he was checking to see that when he released the slide that it fully loaded the next round into the chamber. If the slide did not fully load the cartridge into the chamber, the slide would be back a little bit and the gun would be unable to fire.

I don't think he killed anyone at the beginning of the movie where he steal his car back, he purposely avoids that, he just wanted his car back and peace.

Re-watching your reaction for the 5th time. (no idea how many really) In the comments I saw some suggestions. Totally agree, would LOVE to see you react to "Point Break". It came out when I was a kid and I saw it in theater near wear I live probably 7 or 8 times that summer. (have always been a big Patrick Swayze fan also)

I was unimpressed by the Iron Chef guy.
While I enjoyed JW 1 & 2, I felt 3 was just more of the same stuff. And while I love Keanu, and his immeasurable dedication to training for these films, it just gets tiresome. It's like the fast and furious. When will John Wick be going into space to fight bad guys? Lol
I don't get the space reference but maybe in John Wick 4? 😂
@@DawnMarieX The _Friday the 13th_ franchise; it goes on and on and on until finally Jason goes to space in _Jason X._ It became silly, it being the 10th film in the series. (Note: X is the Roman numeral for 10.)
