    There are shoes made for players - signatures - and those players are a specific position. You can disagree w me all you want but facts are facts. Will that shoe help you out with what you want or need is the question which is what I tried to get across in this video.

  • @WearTesters
    @WearTesters  11 лет назад

    Yeah, take a look at the reviews, read them if needed then compare their scores in the attributes you want or require... just like I stated in this video.

  • @WearTesters
    @WearTesters  11 лет назад

    Thats where your preference comes into play. You know your style and you should know what attributes you require or desire.

  • @WearTesters
    @WearTesters  11 лет назад

    well the answer to your question is in the video. There are scores for the attributes and the HD and HF models are meant to be an every man type of shoe.

  • @WearTesters

    Glad you like them! I didnt find ventilation to be an issue either since the fit is so secure - so you arent sliding around in the shoe.

    I'm about 5'8" SG and i picked up the kobe 7 elite for $89 at my outlet store. One of the best models i've played in as far as cushion, fit, and flexibility go. Only flaw is they hurt your feet for the first day or two wearing them, but once you get past the break in time, they're great.

    Honestly position should matter for the most part. Obviously centers will need to post up more, and point guards will need to be quicker. It comes down to style of play. Pau Gasol wears Kobe's, al Jefferson wears kd's, and Ty Lawson wears lebron's. Like he said choose by attributes that fit your needs.

  • @lilmoe102
    @lilmoe102 10 лет назад +6

    In the video he says you should never ask a question such as (LeBron 11 or Kobe 9 and I'm this height or weight) because it doesn't matter because it is whatever you look for in a basketball shoe. That's all you people are doing in the comment section. All of you missed the whole point of the video. It is whatever you are looking for in a sneaker that should work for you. Not this vs. this. Just pick a damn shoe and play shoes are a luxury if anything.

    You should make a performance topic about how much a shoe will affect your playing(if you haven't already). A lot of people think that shoes make a huge difference in skill so I just want to hear your take on it.

    I would seriously recommend this video to anyone new to basketball, so many kids waste their money (and their potential) on sneaks that just aren't made for their playing style. Legit, these are great vids, all the reviews look at every aspect of the shoe, and they relate to the player. Nightwing2303 knows his shoes man!

    Good info on each shoe. But I think what it really boils down to is personal preference. I'm a 6'3 forward & I play in Kobe 7s so its all about what you think feels best for you.

    Lol right! I'm a low top guy though, and I'm more of a 2guard/3 than anything else, so I love the kd IV and the low hyperfuses. The low top hyperfuses are the best shoe I've played in, in my opinion.

    I'm 16. 5'10, 130. Obviously I'd play guard, maybe even as high as SF because I can rebound pretty well for my size. I want a lot of cushion though. Hyperdunk is what it looks like I'm settling with. If only I can find a pair.

    yeah he is small. Similar to my game, i play SF and a stretch 4 at 5'10 but i play usually from the post when no one is big enough. May be he meant that he needs a shoe that for a center- rebounding and contesting shots at the rim.

    I play forward, but I wear Kobe VII's (I ID'd Kobe 8s, but they're still in transit from China). I have Hyperdunk 2012's, and Lebron X's and I wear both from time to time, but I just like the Kobe VII's best. Obviously, I wear some ankle guards to avoid rolling an ankle with the VII's... I just think the Kobe's work best for me.

    the melo m8's have great cushioning, i'm not sure about the m8 advance though. to me, the cushioning felt like playing on a pillow. if you don't mind the fact that it's a high-cut shoe and that there isn't any real ventilation, i would recommend them highly, they were in nike's outlet store for $80 about a month or so ago. the laces are also kinda long for some odd reason.

    I think another thing to be considered is your feet structure. Are your feet wide or narrow? My friends who have wide feet told me that in some models, even they increase half size or one size of the shoes, it still doesnt give them a perfect fit as they get a wider toe box but longer shoe. (But I dont have any problem with this thing)
    So, we need to try at the shop before buying it lol
