I have a tiny social media habit. Mostly because I can’t stand the behind the keyboard experts. People make snap decision over a tiny glimpse into a video and spew nonsense. When I learned to ride I was 30 and the woman who taught me knew I had horsey fever. She said, horses are 90% from the ground and riding the last 10% and only if there is time.
I like being brought along with CCs day of work. She shows what it is like to have horses and her knowledge about horses becomes more and more evident with each video.

You can probably see it in his general health, his teeth are fine, his hooves are regularly trimmed, someone takes care of him with mash and the vibrator plate, .....

Had a horse like Bill once. A big Appy gelding I bought when he was 7. Found him gone to horse heaven one morning about 8 years ago when he was 33. He's buried under his favorite old oak tree in his pasture. Happy birthday to Bill and Horse Mum to you. I truly admire you for what you do all by yourself and so well.

I am in my 70's and was around horses most of my life. And, I'm here to tell you that I have learned more about horses watching your channel, than I did as a recreation rider for 40 years! Your knowledge about horses, their health and their training shows me that you are the epitome of equine information that all horse lovers aspire to! For anyone to doubt your capabilities just shows what uninformed fools they are!

I got a yearling when I was 13. It was the best thing my parents could have done for me. I was too busy (and happily busy) to get into trouble. I kept her for the rest of her 30+ years on earth. I understand why this channel's creator will never sell Frisco Bill.
I don't understand people who criticize others. You have a balanced and beautiful seat on Frisco Bill. He is in incredible shape for 29 years. You take exceptional care of all your horses. I enjoy and look forward to your videos. I can relate as time spent with my horses is the of times and absolute heaven when a good ride is included. Hello Clever, I've been a little weepy all day and watching you love down this old horse put me over. I am sharing a poem my eastern Montana father wrote about his cow horse Keno who was born the same year as me and lived to be 29. He was a rough trotter too. My old grandfather hadn't been on a horse for many years, but one day when he came out to the ranch, Dad caught Keno and put Grandpa on him. Miss them all so much. KENO by Fran Wetherelt... Called him bad old "Thunder Butt", Called him "Rascal" too. Called him almost everything, including Tried and True". Called him "Rough and Ready". Called him "slothful sot", but when you put him on a cow you just hung on a lot. Called him at dark thirty for many many years. Called him "Prince of Patience" with kids from tail to ears. Called him in the springtime. Called him in the fall. I sure dislike the ugly beast. His picture's on my wall.

I loved reading this!! I had many names for my mare too!! I got her cheap bc she kept breaking my 4-H leaders fences!! I brought her up the road a mile one day to eat grass at the neighbors.. After that she'd trot up whenever she wanted..

I’m a non horsey person but I love animals and have been doing rescue for over 22 years - appreciate your videos and I love all your horses and how you care for them. Shame on those people who say you can’t ride a horse - ignore them!

The dental video of Ziggy was very educational! Even though my horses get dentals every year I have never seen such good pics of the before and after. I love your videos!! I always look forward to your next video! I grew up on a horse farm from two years old until I was thirteen when we had to move away from the farm, but never lost the love of horses or farm life. Watching you do all your chores reminds me of the chores I had each day at the farm as a young guy. Cleaning the barn stalls, pitch forking the waste on our ancient manure spreader hooked to our 9N Ford tractor. Then spreading it out on pastures to fertilize. Grooming the horses, having them ready for the boarders to ride when they showed up. Etc etc etc.
No disrespect to you or your husband but this seventy year old guy loves you, what you do for your horses and for sharing your loving care of them with your videos.

This is my favorite video so far! It’s so obvious how deep the feelings are between you and Frisco Bill after a lifetime of being together. There’s nothing like the bond between people and animals who have been a part of each other’s lives for years and years. I’ve been so blessed to have had 7 cats who were with me for over 19 years, in one case 21 years. I have one last cat who will be 20 in three months, Lord willing. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day with your old friend. I felt it so deeply.

So few animals get to spend their whole lives in one loving home. Seeing that Frisco Bill did this, and with the best owner he could have, just warms my heart. No wonder he looks so great at his age! He's never known hunger, abandonment, mistreatment, or neglect! Happy Belated, Frisco!🎉🎂

I want to wish Frisco Bill a Very Happy Birthday with many healthy years left to enjoy. A compliment to The Clever Cowgirl for taking on the much needed Ferrier skill for your horses. I watch a few different channels related to horses both private and rescue organizations and you are the only one that takes on the Hoof care without using the services of an outside Ferrier. I made myself notes as she worked through the horses. Color and distinguishing marks. Helped me dust off my horsey “eye” again.

It's easy to see what excellent breeding he has; classic quarter horse head to toe and a hit with the ladies. And he's still ready to go out and show his stuff. He's had a good, busy life with lots of time seeing the bigger world and making you proud. And what a beautiful place to live your retirement years, I am jealous...
