Definitely a great play for the win. But I was confused as to why she used her wishclaw game 1 without the attempt to win as a follow up. Instead she passed it to someone else who used it to win. 😵💫
I love how you guys combine MtG the basics in science to decide who goes first. What about next time - remembering the most elements from the periodic table?
cards that go in multiple decks - it's an easy way to quickly pick out the 99 for a deck based on the colour of the dots. I do the same with all of my expensive cards, rather than buying multiple copies
I believe they're stickers to indicate which decks those cards go in. Some cedh players have a "Cedh box" which can make a lot of cedh decks from the same pool of cards. It's just remembering what goes in what deck can be a problem so player put stickers to help remind them of what decks they go in
@@HalcyonVentures That's so smart. I have 2 cEDH decks that I have to swap a hand full of cards out of depending on which I play and I usually just have a list on my phone of which I always swap. Marking them seems so much easier.
Probably a gimmick/cliché video/content idea. But if you guys are looking for additional podcast content you could always do a 'buy/no buy' talking about the latest Secret Lairs that are pushed out. Or even if any of the cards in the secret lair are worth playing and if so in what decks.
Katherine: "Your wincon? You mean OUR wincon."
I was thinking it was a little risky, too! Like what if Thassa was in hand or the grasp got countered?
@@thomasnoonan2039 If it's not taking risks, it's not a Rakdos cEDH deck. Their own main combos are Worldgorger lines, after all.
@@DarkEinherjar touche, touche... :P
Definitely a great play for the win.

😭
I loved the ending of that last game. Putting Final Fortune on top with the Doomsday, then casting it with Prosper on the end step was chef's kiss.
That was a spicy Doomsday
The nature’s claim on mana crypt for daring to cast naus, when there’s a Shorikai in play… brutal
Nice games. That Totem really messed things up for Kinnan !
Holy crap Kathrine! Great game!!!!!
ROFL. Katherine winning through their opponent wincons, that's how it's done. Best game ever.
Great game! Glad Prosper have won but still waiting to see Orcish Bowmasters in action! :D
I love seeing memes in the thumbnails please keep it up!
I’ve never seen a mana negative mana drain. Congrats.
Damn... Katherine dropped the hammer really hard hahaha
Prosper is such a fun cedh deck. Haven’t put the doomsday win in mine but It seems pretty good.

I’m pretty sure the writer makes up the going first joke and then roll for it
bro just raw dogged an ad nauseum lmao
I had to rewind just to make sure I'd understood that he played it in his main phase. Did NOT understand
@@HalcyonVenturesMain phase AND let Tasigur go to Tabernacle... That's some confidence against two blue decks lol
Another Thoracle win... wait, in RAKDOS!?
(Anyway, great content as always!)
Finally some direct Prosper love
That wishclaw in the first game felt a bit questionable but i guess it was dictated by mana availability.
PROSPER FOR THE WIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
Love the thumbnail 😂
LETS GO KATHERINE!!!
Really looking to upgrade my prosper. My most consistent win is a Twinflame, Duelcaster Mage combo. I really enjoyed the second match.
WHY THE STICKERS
We all have commander cubes. Each color represents what deck that card is in.
get in the frickin' EVA, Shinji
Question: Why not run Ulamog IG or Kozilek BoT in Kinnan as both a counter to mill or a big threatening body?
New Ob Nix pushes Prosper down. He is by far the best Rakdos option(besides partners), and both decks are very similar. Ob even runs Prosper in the 99
Those were some good games, kudos to Alan for representing Shorikai's hanger 🫡
What are the little dots on Katherine’s sleeves? I’ve always wondered. Fire games!!! ❤❤❤
OMG MITOSIS.
Anybody know what the deal is with the dots on Katherine's sleeves?

@@HalcyonVentures I assume they go on the inner sleeves? I need a solution for this same issue and this seems like the go to for lots of folks.
@@STVMcarbondragon yeah definitely on the inner

dope gameplay!!
Eeehhhh that’s fine
This is why I put more creature and artifact hate in my kinnan just cause linvalla and cursed totem are so cruel...
Dockside, Crypt and Jeweled. RIP
Why did kevin destroy the mana crypt? Throwing around interaction for no reason?
I think it’s because he has 1 green floating and didn’t want it to go to waste. That’s what I think anyways
Right? With Shorikai in play.
@@Itsmescoots even ignoring the shorikai, Sol Ring is still the better pick, it doesnt damage him on his upkeep 50% of the time.
👍
dude countered a wheel of fortune with teferi out in 3 loyalty counters.....
dude couldve had two extra turns...
Did y'all seriously change the title? 🤣. Thought I hadn't watched it lmao
Yep. Performance was in the dumpster
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG Aren't some videos just going to perform better or worse than others? Eh, I thought the previous title was pretty funny myself.
Super sus wishclaw activation in the first game
Why do u countinue to reveal who Wins in the headline…..
Playing with pride... And destroying it
Why is Kinnan playing thassas oracle...? Theres so many better wincons without black
Probably an additional win con, Kinnan tends to win by overunning the board with creatures, but thassas could be a backup

[Insert sassy comment about another Thoracle win here]
If you’re going to use wishclaw you better win on the spot on your turn. Punted the game
first?
