So, I'm decent friends with Kenji and Missile (vocals and bass, respectively) from this band and gave them some jellyrolls as a gift when their current band came through my area. They were really confused when I said "Hey, here's some jellyrolls since y'all were in Jellyroll Rockheads". Turns out neither of them knew what a jellyroll was, which was unreal to me. They said the drummer was the band leader and he thought up the name, but it's crazy to me that they went along with a name for years without knowing or even asking what it meant. I was left with them excitedly asking me what their own band name meant as if people say "Jellyroll Rockheads" in English all the time, haha.

They've experimented with their sound a lot, though. Their albums "Sweet 10 Thrashers", "Magical Jet Light", and "Razors Rising!!!!" are all on RUclips (and Spotify) if you're interested. If you mean what genre are the Jellyroll Rockheads, I'd say that they're... jangly fastcore? The only bands that remind me of them are Crow Dragon Tea ("Happy Funny Life") and The Futures ("Electric Wave From the Underworld") (same guitarist)... maybe to a lesser degree A Page of Punk, Rainbow of Death, and Idol Punch? Jellyroll Rockheads are pretty unique, though. If you mean what genre/flavor were the jellyrolls, they were mikan orange flavored, haha.
