1. 8.1 have 18 watt fast charging but 7.2 have 10 watt
2. 8.1 have Snapdragon 710 and its slight better than 7.2 Snapdragon 660
3. Camera is better on 8.1 but it don't have wide angle N7.2 have wide camera.
4. 8.1 display size is bit smaller than 7.2 but quality is decent on both with pureview.
5. Battery are same 3500mah on both
Look and design wise 7.2 is more beautiful. please avoid charcol colour and buy Ice or cyan colour varient of 7.2 coz it's looks great

Been using this phone since last 1yr. One of the best I've ever owned. Such a shame Nokia stopped it and didn't follow it up. Waiting for more from Nokia...
Using nokia 8.1 for more than a year now... zero complaints since day 1 of usage.. don't do gaming that much.. using it ... just for watching / creating & uploading videos at youtube , social networking ( fb) ... Quickly checking mails and ofcourse for calling and replying messages.. till now it lasts from morning to night or evening atleast with just one time charge.. have one or two accidental drops but surprisingly it survived... Not even any damage to its glassback..
The only negative point to me is that being almost 28-29 k initial pricetags... they should have considered to give a protective cover/ screen guard etc..
Waiting for android 11 now for this device.. 😁

Bro battery me koi problem nahi hai me 1 sal se use kar raha hu surf battery ki capacity par mat jao.. phone backup aachha de deta hai. Baki phone vale blote 4500mah ki battery hai lekin kam 3000mah vale ka hi dete hai lemon is phone me aisa nahi hAi

Call quality is good. Loudspeaker's output is good.
This phone is officially discontinued by Nokia. Spare parts nahi milenge. Duplicate spares sey optimum performance nahi mileygaa aur woh achaanak sey bigad bhi saktey hai after some time.
It's a good phonee using from April 2019 and I like it very much but from some time I am facing such issues and I don't want to change my phone soon. Do you guys felling any prob on your device

Great phone nothing has degraded till now everything is same as new phone after 2 years whereas samsung mi etc after 2/3 months they start degrading performance and camera wise ...
@@PSCJunction frankly speaking my 8.1 doesn't have any issues till now can't say about others but mine is working great there are some software glitches sometimes which gets corrected by software updates apart from this no other issues performance,camera all are exactly same like they were at the time of purchase.

I like this phone, it is a flagship device from nokia. It gives very premium feeling while holding, camera is good, OIS is one of the very rare feature you get in any device. Overall, a very premium look and nice phone from nokia.
8.1 was not a flagship phone. It was a premium smartphone in the midrange segment. Nokia Sirocco ( 8 ) was a flagship.
I am using it for more than a year. Experience is unbelievably good. 😊

Abhi koi quality nahi bachi Nokia mey. It's exactly like any other cheap quality smartphone - full plastic. See their technical specifications. They are using bad processors. To stay in the market, they have to put efforts and bring good phones. Otherwise once again they will experience a downfall. HMD Global should stop misusing Nokia's brand image and trust.

This is an exceptional Phone. Been using for the past 15 months and I have never faced any lag or heating issues. This is by far the best stock android phones that one can buy after the Pixel. The only thing I feel that Nokia's need to enhance are their speaker quality and their audio output. The audio is loud but lacks bass compared to Samsung or Realme. Apart from it, this is one of the best mid range stock android phones available in the market. Nothing comes close to it apart from the Pixel.

@@PSCJunction the problem is due to type c cable provided in box,to avoid it you can use a third party type c cable(e.g. xiomi,ambrame etc)

I bought nokia 8.1 6gb ram 128gb rom version for 23k years ago. This phone is mind blowing, super smooth operation, camera is insane with OIS and one 12mp main and 13mp depth sensor, night photos are insane, build quality and design with metal and glass is on another level,
18 watt fast charger is fast enough, battery backup is too good with gaming and other daily tasks.
Finally Nokia is going to moon with its 4g which only a godfather can do ✌️

I have used Nokia 8.1, 6.1 plus and 5.1 plus....all these phones developed charging port problems after one year use ...no gorilla glass protection in nokia 8.1 ....I would rate 6.1 plus better than. 8.1
8.1 is using Dragontrail glass which is as though as Gorilla glass

Having issues in camera app after few days of Android 10 upgrade. When I click pics, many times it give 0.2 mp 81kb size pic same with front camera also & while tap to focus also same issue. When I click pics & instantly touch to view it then it shows processing, many times. Please help.

Ive used nokia 8.1 for 9 months and to be honest the software department of nokia is simply shit.... yeah they give regular updates but they actually dont bother about the bugs.... and the nokia service is India is just a formality... 2 years ago I purchased 6.1 plus.. had port issue and went to service center and got it replaced thrice and is of no use.. and then bought 7 plus.. same happened with that also.. and bought 8.1 after that... and this time my phone after 9 months started to boot over again and again.. the service people were like its external damage and they were billing 12k for a software issue telling the issue is with RAM ... honestly guys... Nokia is never the same.
Service depends in certain areas. We are getting good service so i cannot complain.

I would like to share my Nokia 8.1 experience, I have been using it for past 1 and half year, but recently I have faced an issue with battery which got swollen so be careful before buying Nokia phones even I had full Faith in Nokia but unfortunately they let me down with this high cost phone.

I purchased it for its OIS feature. However it's audio recording is not good at all. Even the call audio isn't clear. Now suddenly the fingerprint scanner isn't working properly. I have to enter the pin most of the times.
