Either battery was replaced or water damage or liquid got in. It is possible that the dropped could have triggered it as well. Best would be to take a to Apple service center so they can do a diagnostic.
It's possible to have 100% on used iPhone, if it wasn't used much and its a newer iPhone. But if its a very old iPhone then it could have been replaced.

First of all this is not true.... i can replace batterys and changing the pcb board from old battery to new one and reset the cycle, and it gives u aswell an "original battery"... all those popup messages are ment for people who have no skills thats repair phones and sell them on the market. but all messages can be removed and all "non-gen screens or bat" can be fixed as wel.

And the technician said that their is a color violet in the screen of my iphone, due to my battery were it is lightly swollen that tends to touch the LCD towards outside and that cause of that violet on the screen.

I suggest you don't worry about display as long as its oled or lcd. Oh ps : if you wanna know why your used xs doesnt show the message and its on 100%, just download 3utools on pc and connect your phone. It will list every part that has been changed :)))
