how long did it take you to be successful on your own?
What I find so humbling about day traders is that they have to control greed, fear, anger, frustration, timing, all with hundreds if not thousands of dollars on the line for the span of a few seconds. That to me is just, that is amazing, I have so much respect for day traders that succeed you seem like you have been through hell and back.

1 lost $200 first time trading last 2011 so I did quit, then started again last March 2018 after 3 months almost lost all my money, then next 3 months to this present is now up to 173% but still there are times I'm not sure what to decide during trading and so I tried to learn more each day. Thank you so much Ross for making excellent educational videos!

That is what I been doing for two and half month. There was no way for me to do for real and I realized it because I have drop a dozen of them because beginers think that what goes down must come up (Newton's) which is a big mistake, even though i have done many good ones.

Hey Joe, Yes it is! It was originally called paper trading because people used to follow stocks in a newspaper and practice trading that way. With computers and technology people can now "paper trade" in simulators with real market data. www.warriortrading.com/paper-trading/
Just watching the video and I understand time needs to be put into learning which is what I plan to do, but a lot of people have work that gets in the way and me being in the UK makes it quite difficult time frame wise, is this something that can be worked around? Thank you for the videos
Hey Peter, Yes it is something that can be worked around. You have to figure out the time difference and trade when the market opens, or you can swing trade, which means buying a stock and holding onto it for a couple of days before selling it. Finding stocks is all about scanning for the setup you are looking for. Watching that list and narrow down to the setups that mature into a trade-able setup. You don't have to rush in. Learn your setups that you trust by review 100's of charts each week. It all comes together. Paper Trade is a must in the learning curve.

If you're a US citizen, you only option for a day trading account is Suretrader. If you're a non-US citizen, we recommend Trade Zero.
You dont need 25,000 to open an account you can open a cash account. Yeah you can only make a couple trades a week but at least you can get your feet wet

Hey EmErton, for a beginner, the type or cap level of stock you trade isn't the most important thing a beginner needs to focus on. A beginner needs to have a solid strategy that they've practiced in a simulator and are profitable at. This could be in low cap, mid cap, large cap stocks, swing trades, options etc.
