You seem knowledge able in fire alarms system I thought when I looked at the instructions how to install a uk smoke alarm it said bottom of alarm 2 feet from ceiling I bet you agree that sounds weird but I am also no the safety lab that approved the thing any ideas? Thank you
Would be nice to see the house fire alarm trip the garage as well. And I only mean that the house will trip the garage and not the other way around. That way you can be notified another redundant way if something happens and plus the whole property would be alerted instead of just the house if the house was on fire.
I connected them together for supervisory the problem is if a system puts another one into alarm both have to be reset and it can become like a dog chasing its own tail if each put each other into alarm
@@nics-systems-electricI believe at least in some parts of America that it’s required that all new structures residential and commercial need some sort of sprinkler and/or fire suppression. Not sure how it is in Canada or remember the exact rule but more and more structures residential and commercial are adopting their own fire sprinkler system.
@@achannelwithnopurpose1977 where I am residential needs to be sprinkled only if the building has four different units or more so a four Plex house or bigger needs to be sprinkled if it's new construction
