Somehow Taxi eluded me in my childhood, but thanks to Hulu I am now obsessed. Great show, best of Christopher Lloyd by far. I am actually currently watching the episode a wrecking ball goes through his apartment while he's eating cereal!
The Jim character went from being a fun side note to almost taking over the show. You could see just how much the writers began to depend of Christopher Lloyd to keep them the show going.
I loved him as professor live from Back to the Future, as Judge Doom from Who framed Roger Rabbit and as Count Dooku from Star Wars. He's just the best.
I ran to Iggy in Hollywood few yrs ago....As much as he made my day, I apparently made his day by telling him how funny his characters were....Told him also how sorry I was when I heard on the news his home burnt down from california fires a few weeks prior
One great thing (amongst many) about BTTF is that its really can't be remade. That specific dichotomy between the 50's and 80's is just something that I don't think can be transplanted to today. What's funny is that the prediction of the Cubs finally winning a World Series was only off by a year.
Good news is Robert Zemeckis said himself it will never be remade as long as he is alive. He won't give anyone the rights because the trilogy is just near perfect.
Hey "TAXI!" It's too much fun and timeless like knowing who is the president, when we reconnect with our unpredictable and multi-faceted actor. Stay safe everyone!
Christopher has brought so much crazy fun to me and millions of other people, but I guess I'm kinda sad to see how he is so reserved and guarded in real life. Nothing wrong with that. I have Aspergers, so I'm all about reserved and guarded, but it makes me think, did he actually enjoy these crazy, fun performances or was it just work to him? Maybe he's just slowed down with age or health issues or something. One of my favourite actors ever. God bless him.
In the original script Professor Brown puts Marty in a refrigerator at ground zero of a nuclear test. Then Marty is back in 1982 in the desert in the old refrigerator. The professor arrives to pick him up in a helicopter he invented and explains he never rebuilt a time machine and Marty had just disappeared in a movie theater in 1982 a little earlier. The movie script we saw never explained how there would be 2 Deloreans.
Amazing stories had that one about him as a teacher that completely loses his head yikes. the McFlys are backing up a little slowly now. even Mr Stricling has moved out of Hill Valley. oh and just in case anyone is asking the dog Einstein is just fine. and Biff Tannon still doesn't have a clue who shot Mr Body in the hall with the revolver. one plus two plus one plus two plus one is....
Okay, let's be real here. He's an awesome actor. That is fact Holy smokes it's hard to listen to this interview because it's like pulling teeth to get a straight sentence out of him without a major hesitation. I mean no disrespect to him whatsoever, but I got so frustrated listening

He's a very shy and quiet person when not performing, despite his skill at playing energetic, wacky characters. He rarely used to give interviews at all.
The whole cast of Taxi was casted so well. The mic of characters was some of the best casting ever on television as far as a group of people.
He was my favorite character on Taxi.
Christopher Lloyd is a legend!
Yes he is.
He's a national treasure.
I still love, "what does a yellow light mean?"
Somehow Taxi eluded me in my childhood, but thanks to Hulu I am now obsessed. Great show, best of Christopher Lloyd by far. I am actually currently watching the episode a wrecking ball goes through his apartment while he's eating cereal!

@@Cml725 that was a funny scene
We are blessed to have him in our life time...

That was beautiful. X
The man who mastered the fantasy-based movie character like no other. God bless!

Christopher was great as doc brown loved his proformce in all 3
I loved him on taxi he was hilarious and brilliant!
I just love him and I have been a fan ever since Taxi!
friggen hilarious scene when his sock caught on fire in Cuckoo
I loved him as professor live from Back to the Future, as Judge Doom from Who framed Roger Rabbit and as Count Dooku from Star Wars. He's just the best.
Those Sith eyes were stabbing red
I dunno if you're joking, but that was Christopher Lee in Star Wars, not Christopher Lloyd
@@Dainichi_Nyorai Sorry, I was confused by both of these names
@@TheGeorgianSmoker670 No problem for me. Easy mistake to make :)
@@Dainichi_Nyorai Thanks
Love Christopher Lloyd 😎👊
The Great Christopher Lloyd. Cant ever come close to how great he is.
I'm a big fan of Christopher Lloyd I love his character in Buckaroo Banzai dr. Brown judge Doom to name a few
Does anyone ever ask him about playing Butch Cavendish in the Legend Of The Lone Ranger movie?
A Star Trek legend.
Tom Hanks worked with both Back to the Future stars. He was Alex Keaton's uncle on Family Ties too.
I ran to Iggy in Hollywood few yrs ago....As much as he made my day, I apparently made his day by telling him how funny his characters were....Told him also how sorry I was when I heard on the news his home burnt down from california fires a few weeks prior
Reverend Jim was a janitor/mentor at Crispin Hellion Glover's elementary school. ;)

Hey, Fugettaboutit. I couldn't agree more. Thanks for watching!
Best, David

Its amazing how much Lloyd resmbles Boris Karloff!
Brilliant!
He was brilliant in Taxi, just search for 'TAXI...Jim with Latka's cocaine cookies'. :)
GREAT SCOTT
Crystal Champion lol 😆
The film Chris was speaking of was called "Shoot the Sun Down".
+unclesporkums Thanks for the info! And thanks for watching! David
I loved Christopher Lloyd in Clue as Professor Plum.
I loved him as Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
I loved Christopher Lloyd in Star Trek III The Search For Spock as Commander Kroog.
Hard to believe the cast of Taxi is in their 70s and 80s!
Christopher has brought so much crazy fun to me and millions of other people, but I guess I'm kinda sad to see how he is so reserved and guarded in real life. Nothing wrong with that. He should get more credit as a serious actor but I think this is overshadowed by his comedy roles. Perhaps that's why he seems a bit sour.
Classy dude.
I like the dream team very cool funny movie
18:25 made me laugh out loud.
Fire on the engines!
What DOES a yellow light mean.... No yellow lights for Chris Lloyd. He has never EVER slowed down.
HEADBANGERSBALLER great episode.
That's the moment I always think of.
Christopher Lloyd is starting to remind me of Hunter S Thompson.lol...
Head of the class
christopher lloyd should start an asmr channel
This is like interviewing switchblade sam lol😂😂😂😂

Never looked into it, did he produce Modern Family?
That's a different Christopher Lloyd
I would love to see a Charlie & the chocolate factory with Christopher Lloyd as grandpa Joe & bill Murray as Willy wonka
That would be cool, Tyler Wright. I hope you'll like, share and subscribe! Thanks. David
Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads.
Legend....But why didn't you guys give the man a drink of water??He sounds dry and thirsty
One of the more UNINTERESTING interviews I’ve ever seen
99% of you won’t GET IT,
You just didn't get it. 😆
Maxim C. It’s really simple - he was just really boring to listen to talk.
I love Chris Lloyd but I'll admit this interview wasn't particularly exciting
He grew up in a super wealthy Connecticut old WASP family. He isn't going to be a demonstrative person.
Okay, let's be real here. He's an awesome actor. That is fact
