I'm conflicted; it feels like they ruined one of my favorite songs by making it minor. You did a great job on the cover, though. Have you considered covering the original from FFIV?
Nah, they didn't ruin it. It was a genius move. Familiar, yet strikingly different. Just like the Fell Court when compared against the lively Troia in IV. It wouldn't make sense to have a happy-go-round song in a dungeon depicting things a few degrees below "extremely screwed-up conditions".
