Thanks Steve! Your videos have helped me a great deal as I have been learning our Newell coach (#1202) over the last year and a half. You have a great teaching approach. Safe travels!
Wow, Paul, that’s so wonderful of you to say. I truly appreciate the compliment and am thankful you reached out to let me know! Enjoy #1202 and you all have safe travels as well!
@@RVSquaredSteve I'm 53 years old and I've been relaxing my blades since the 90's. I first learned to hate wipers that skipped across the windshield in college when I would drive my car between Detroit and my school in Grand Forks, ND. It was a 20 hour drive and I needed good working wipers because poorly maintained wipers is not allowed by my meticulous nature. I was also a coach driver for my university. We had a fleet of campus shuttles plus over the road coaches primarily for our athletic teams. Those OTR MCI's had the super strong spring tension just like your Newell. Those darn wipers never worked properly. Later in life when I drove Prevost H3-45 coaches...same thing. Too much spring tension and the blades were always kinked to one side causing them to skip across the windshield during the outbound stroke. These days I consistently lift up my vehicle wiper blades and place them back onto the windshield in a neutral position. They never skip!
Nice tip on the tennis balls and thanks for reducing my storage anxiety. I have well insulated bay, but when you coming rolling in during the summer it turns it into an oven and get up to upper 80’s, low 90’s. I normally go up a day later and open the doors to let it air out a bit. Sounds like you’re WAY hotter.
Thanks for watching. Yes, pulling a HOT rig into ANY closed bay is going to really heat things up. Unfortunately, our bay is an oven 24/7 and pulling a hot rig into it wouldn't even make a difference on most summer days!
@@bradaden7001 good idea on a Split, Brad. Not sure our LL would want a higher electric bill than what they already have. But can’t hurt to ask; afraid it wouldn’t be able to keep up though.
@@sevance1 only if it’s insulated. Our landlord went over the top. On mid 90’s days it gets to maybe 75. Winter in the Midwest we’ve never hit below 50 inside and that’s with no mini split, just insulation.
Might want to try this, once you have water in your toilet, cover the bowl completely with plastic wrap. Heard about this from some folks that did long term storage, it keeps the water from evaporating. Maybe put some antifreeze in the water as well.
Beautiful coach, we are planning to build weather control storage in our backyard. Hopefully that will protect the rv from weather related damages to cool /hot. Haven't check on pros/ cons on doing this project.
@@RVSquaredSteve Thanks, this is our second year rving and we definitely glad to have it in our backyard were we can tend it everyday or once a week depends on what's going on. Literally my husband said "honey I been in my trailer "🤣. I reminded him is a Class A.
Great proactive approach and useful information.
Thank you, Scott; I’m glad you found the video useful.

Glad your back!!
Well thank you, Bill! ;-) Sorry for the break…been pretty tied up.
Steve
Nice video. Always enjoy them
Thanks Ken; appreciate it!
Great video! As expected, you and I suffer from the same affliction. I too relax my wiper blades.
That’s too funny, Stephen…glad I have company! Who knew we needed wiper-relaxers! ;-)

@@RVSquaredSteve our landlord will let us put in a mini split, but I was holding off as I really want a double wide stall and I’m next on the list.

@@fitfifties yes…have heard about that! I’m also experimenting with Mineral oil tag forms a barrier. Still stains a bit though.

This is something I would LOVE to do but, alas, no room. Good luck; it’ll be so great to have!

I wouldn’t mind doing that if I had a Newell
It's definitely worth doing...really with any coach! Thanks for watching.
