In this episode of Al-Kee-Hol, we meet up with world famous photographer Atiba Jefferson to visit the Jägermeister factory in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. Atiba has had a genuine love for and obsession with for Jägermeister for many years now-it's his drink of choice wherever he goes-so here's the perfect person to accompany us on our tour.
Upon our arrival at Jägermeister headquarters, we're greeted by the brand's head distiller, Mr. Fritz, who shows us the ins and outs of the factory and how the potent drink is made. Then, its off to Bad Harzburg-the founder of Jägermeister's old hunting lodge-for a Jäger history lesson. Towards the tail end of our visit, we head to the town of Hildesheim to meet Jägermeister maestro Nils Boese, who serves Atiba some unique cocktails and a shot that Atiba describes as "one of the best things he's ever tasted." And we end our journey in Berlin, celebrating with-you guessed it-more Jägermeister.

One of the best times to have Jäger is after a large meal of protein such as beef or sausage. The herbs in Jäger are meant to help the food digest in your stomach so that you don't feel bloated. It's also fun to get fucked up on too lol.

Different people react slightly differently, to all drugs/substances. That's why we use Confidence Intervals from statistics in Medical/Biological research. The effect is for 95% of the population/sample, so there are still outliers who won't respond the same way as everyone else/
***** You actually kind of are assuming that though, it might not be his "blackness" but it is still possible that he (or someone else) would be more resistant to those effects (although there is a high probability that he is full of shit though lol)
As I said, there will still always be outliers....
Jaegermeister was founded in Germany in 1935, where nothing much happened with it until some time around ten years later. Which takes us right upto now where it is one of the most popular drinks in the world. The end.

I am really excited to see a video like this about jager, i often see things like this about scotch and wine but jager is an amazingly drinkable spirit which has brought me many a fine memory in my short drinking life!

I'm 23 and so far Jager is the best drink I've ever had
The first time I tried Jager, I said Hmmm! Vicks formula 44, I might like this. Then I had it chilled properly and it had a totally different character and the buzz is different. I never thought of putting Kahlua and Jager or beer and Jager. I got the Irish hooked on a sip of Reposado tequila with a Guiness chase and they rocked on that.

Actually, you need to party in Okinawa, Japan. Bars open at sundown and close at sunrise. Kin-cho is a great USMC party town. Have you tried Jaeger and cherry Dr Pepper? Since I'm in coal country,I named it Black Damp, after the real black damp in coal mines. It's friggin' awesome!

man... is this a sponsored vid or what?? Also, Jäger is not as popular in Germany as it may be perceived from this video. Still popular, dont get me wrong .. i think it is something like the fourth most popular spirit in germany (with rum/vodka at top1&2 and whiskey coming in as 3rd). Regarding straight shots, it is somewhat more popular.

Adam House It's not as popular as a party/bar drink in Germany as it is abroad. That's mostly a result of the marketing from when it was introduced to international markets. Traditionaly it's a drink that you have after a meal to help with digestion. So it's something that used to be drunk mostly by old people.

Justus Jonas Yeah, you either love Jäger and drink it a LOT, or you despise it and you dont drink any of it. There is no middle ground. Personally i think it tastes like medicine. I would maybe accept it in a sophisticated cocktail with a herbal theme, but longdrinks with medicine taste are THE WORST.

That was amazing tour. I like Jager but it is abit too sweet for me. However I know few people that make it at home and that one hits a spot. Its not original I know, but close enough.

i had a stormy relationship with jager back in the day.. as with many things you have to respect it or it will turn on you.. the jager definitely turned on me. so i stopped drinking it. but watching this makes me think i might like some again, especially maybe with the chocolate liquer that sounds great.
