- Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema Wednesday addressed the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly where the leader of the southern African nation spoke on a range of issues, among them climate change and how the war in Ukraine has impacted the continent.

We are proud of our Leader Mr Hakainde Hichilema. He is working extremely hard to give the country a stronger economic, political and social foundation. Zambia is likely to become a better country by the time he leaves office after serving his full two terms.

We don't forget Zimbabwe either. Remember Lord, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe are daughters of one mother. Each has gone her own way to have families. But illness be it economic, social or political in one of the three daughters is illness for all the three. Their boundaries are artificial. They are one family. There will be no prosperity for Zambia without prosperity for Malawi. There will be no prosperity for Malawi until Zimbabwe prospers. There will be no prosperity for Zimbabwe until Zambia prospers. Keep your three daughters in good health we pray with thanks giving in our hearts. Amen.
