  • OJ Simpson the football player is part of the NFL's history. He was voted the NFL's player of the decade at the conclusion of the 1970's.
Because of what he became, it is forgotten that as a running back, he was one of the best ever. As a human being he is despicable.

Greatest back I've ever seen to this day. sprinter speed , elusiveness, and power no threat of a passing game everyone one knew he was going to get the ball 30 plus times a game and they still couldn't stop him. He played on horrible frozen artificial turf in the northeast nothing could slow down the JUICE. Over 2000 yards in a 14 game season and didn't even finish the the last game they took him out after breaking 2000. There have been alot of great backs but none better than the JUICE !

No threat of a passing game? Ahmad rashad? Jd Hill? Bobby Chandler? Haven Moses?...Doesnt matter though...they all knew OJ was getting the ball--and they couldnt come close to stopping him.

What's the best in his area and with a block on of John Brocket and if you look at the film John Bronson made a lot of his moves to like I said OJ was the best man for his era I grew up in the air and I love saying Buffalo to this day I have o.j. Simpson New Jersey that I never where is probably priceless

I'm an old man and watched OJ at USC on television in the 1960s. Near the end of games, needing a touchdown, most teams throw a long pass. They started calling it a Hail Mary sometime in the 70s. In the 1950s they called it the Alley Oop. But that's not what USC did. They didn't throw a long pass. They tossed a pitchout to OJ Simpson. That was always their best chance for a touchdown.

And he did it back when football was real. When teams ran the ball. Every team in the league knew that the Bills had nothing but OJ and she was still able to beat their defenses.

Juice was crazy good. The guy was shifty, juked when needed and had SPEED! Safeties and corners couldn’t catch him. I can’t even imagine that in today’s league. To do that in the 70s when the league was centered around running the football renders it even more impressive. JB, Juice, Barry, Payton.

#1 Best running back period. Seen at 10:50 in his robe. Neat as a pin 10 min later. I believe OJ Stumbled on that scene. Had he would've stayed and reported it. He wouldn't have been framed. In 45 min you slaughter 2 people, drive back home, and are fresh out of the shower and ready for a Lomo by 10:55. Impossible. That's why he was found innocent!! The Vegas incident was stupid. You were framed, you got justice by your lawyers, and missed out on the middle years of your life. That broke my heart. Live the rest of your life and enjoy everyday juice. You're still loved by many!! God bless

OJ was actually better than Jim Brown because he played in a modern era that was more integrated. Defensive players were faster and stronger. OJ never really had a good team - he was the man and everyone know it.

O.J. Simpson in his prime was arguably the best running back to ever play the game. Look at his balance, his cuts, and his speed. Poetry in motion. He was the Michael Jordan of the '70s. Only more so. And he did a lot of good things. I think fame, wealth, and being idolized by so many people changed him for the worst. It made him feel he could get away with murder and he did. There is not a doubt in my mind he did it. Look at all the documented incidents of him beating up his wife. It is a tragedy from every angle.

Ok, he had personal issues. Off field he had his problems. But his off field and outside of football was equally as intense as he was a football player.

OJ was great. He could slice up a defense like a hot knife through white butter. He could cut through the D like carving up a white Turkey breast on Thanksgiving. He was razor sharp. He could get away from anyone. An absolute killer running back. He totally murdered defenses. He left them lying in his wake. He truly let the juice loose. An amazing escape artist on the field. He was faster than a speeding Bronco. The football fit his hand like a glove.

  • @richg9448

OJ hands down had the best skill set of any RB. He had vision, speed, power and elusiveness. He could catch and block. His QB Joe Ferguson only became better AFTER OJ because then he had to read defenses and throw to his receivers. Btw all that say he’s innocent a friend worked for the LAPD and they routinely were called to Brentwood by Nicole but he being OJ they dismissed it. People warned her he’s gonna hurt or kill you and that’s what happened whether by his own hand or a hit. Either way 2 people are dead.

What is the name of the the music that begins at the 8:00 minute mark and ends at 10:20? I've got the NFL Autumn Thunder box set and this tune isn't included. It's also not posted in the list of tunes you provided above. I've heard this tune for years but I have no idea about the title or composer.
And, Do you know the titles of the themes between (12:11-13:57), (17:14-19:49), and (26:21-28:32)?

@kellykarcher7179 obviously you're someone who is an extreme novice on football. SMH Joe Greene is a top10 player ever. Any position. Single handedly turned around a losing franchise and turned it into a dynasty. OJ is great. Top5 back of
all time. Not in the same category as Greene. Don't get caught up into the flashy offensive stats and highlights. IMPACT!!

    • @kellykarcher7179

@@leramfreeman2950 Oh please! If I'm an "extreme novice on football", than why do the football experts and pundits agree with me? They overwhelmingly chose OJ as the "NFL Player of the Decade". OJ is easily a Top 10 player of all-time. Greene is MAYBE in the Top 25. He was surrounded by Hall of Famers. OJ was the ONLY player on the Bills in the 70's who made the HOF. I think it's time for you to start doing some research before questioning my intelligence on the history of the NFL.

    • @leramfreeman2950
      @leramfreeman2950 6 месяцев назад

@kellykarcher7179 Who is they? That proves you're a novice. Were you even born to watch them play? You make your opinion based on what others say, makes you a novice. OJ Simpson isn't a top10 player. A ridiculous comment! Once again, Greene started the dynasty. If others became hall of famers, it's because Greene was the catalyst. By the way, if you're a female, I'm done with this debate. I don't debate sports with women.
