Cool story about Richard Lewis, another great video Chad, looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks John! He seemed really, genuinely nice and funny, and not the kind of guy that needed a team of writers to do his thing. A natural comedian.

Always like Richard Lewis. Gotta love those cassette tapes! I still find some stashed away.

For about ten years or so, cassettes were my main thing. I need a good deck, because we have some around here.

I remember being very proud of having every Led Zep album on cassette, arranged on a shelf, in order. The Song Remains the Same was a double cassette and it ended up stretching and the capstan broke. A lot of Columbia records cassettes broke (the capstan would snap off, leaving bare metal that didn't make proper contact with the tape). I loved how you could crank it 'em in a car and they would sound great at high volume with no distortion. The clear ones that came out towards the end were really good. My son has found really old ones: Zep, CSNY, and some rare garage stuff. He was really into anything Todd Rundgren when he was little, mainly The Naz.

Richard Lewis was the nicest dude. Completely down to earth. It looks like he was friends with Lou Reed, but he acted just like any other fan at the show and didn't act like a big shot or anything show biz. A naturally funny, and entertaining dude.
