Hatitians tend to be extremely conservative and yet this right here may get him to looses 75 % of their support, I say 75% cause theres always 🦝s running around. I know a bunch of Haitians they tend to usually not allow their children to have pets and when they do they stay outside.
I am a liberal of Haitian and Afro-Brazilian descent. I am also a psychologist. I have spoken to many Haitians and a small percentage of the ones I have spoken to support Trump. Despite my attempt to apply reason, explaining that a vote for him will lead to their demise, it will also affect how they navigate in the future, let let alone the risk of being deported back to Haiti regardless of their citizenship status. Mind you, many African-Americans particularly Black men share the same illogical position as many Trump supporting Haitians. Below, is my essay on the topic. Some Haitians may be voting for Donald Trump due to a variety of political, economic, and cultural reasons that resonate with their personal experiences and values. Many Haitian Americans who own small businesses or aspire to economic success may be drawn to Trump's promises of tax cuts, deregulation, and policies aimed at stimulating the business sector. They may believe that his economic vision aligns with their entrepreneurial goals. Another consideration is Trump's tough rhetoric on immigration, which, while controversial, appeals to some Haitians who believe in stricter immigration controls. Those who have immigrated legally might feel that Trump's policies prioritize legal immigrants over those who come to the U.S. through undocumented means, seeing this as a way to maintain fairness in the system. There is also a cultural and ideological component. Some conservative-leaning Haitian Americans may support Trump's positions on social issues such as religious freedom and opposition to certain progressive policies. His appeal to traditional values resonates with certain Haitian communities that place importance on religion and conservative family structures. Lastly, some Haitians support Trump for his perceived strong leadership style. His assertiveness and direct approach may be viewed as a strength in handling international relations and protecting U.S. interests, which some see as beneficial for stability in Haiti and the wider Caribbean region.
